My mother has been a client at North Lake Villas for almost a year and words can't express how amazing the entire staff is! Each and everyone there has a heart of gold! I was a caregiver for my mom for almost 4 years and I can honestly say this is not a job for everyone but these individuals at North Lake Villas are doing what they were called to do! Thank God for these Angles!!!

I'm giving them 2 stars for the caregiver who did spend time with my husband: she made a real difference in the last two weeks of his life. Most other aspects of their service, from having a backup caregiver in case of illness (and much miscommunication and dropped balls on their part) to getting a refund that I'm owed (and three weeks later, still haven't received) have left me frustrated and upset.

I contacted this agency after the person my mom hired to look after my dad bailed on her. The agency staff (Joy, Lu) was easy to work with and asked after our needs and preferences. They were transparent about pricing and helped us find the most budget friendly option. The caregiver Rollen was great with my dad - patient, friendly, and gentle. He took care of his grooming in addition to monitoring his vitals, doing laundry, taking him for walks, etc. My parents were both pleased by his work. Would use them in future if needed.

As the only son living away from my father due to job relocation, finding the right homecare agency is of utmost importance. My 93-year-old father had been a loving parent and support system for me, helping me get to where I am now. As I search for the right agency, I had to interview a lot of them and really get to know their process in hiring and deploying their caregivers. I narrowed down my list to 3 companies but eventually chose SoCal Care. This company by far is the best company that I came across with. They are very process-oriented, and they provide me with complete information and more that allowed me to get to know them better. They just ticked all the boxes for me. I specifically liked the proactive communication that they offer to families of their clients. They acknowledge that most family members may be busy and far away, and they as an agency are making sure family members are updated at all times. I was anxious in interviewing caregivers virtually but this company made the process very smooth for me. I appreciated that after the interview, I was able to brainstorm with their care coordinator on who we think is the best match for my father. It was extremely helpful for me to get the input of an insider who knows both the client needs and the profile of the caregivers they are assigning. Dan and Allan were the perfect fit for my dad. From the interview to the actual job, I would give this company and their caregivers 110% satisfaction rate. The most important box that they ticked was they made my father feel safe, happy and helped him live a meaningful life despite his limitations.

My aunt was recently discharged from a rehab center after a couple of weeks of recovering from her hip surgery. At the age of 84, my aunt has been in denial in seeking care at home as she never had to do it. I contacted Southern California Caregiving (SCC) & spoke with Ivy and with a couple of representatives from SCC. They are all very approachable, attentive and kind. I did not see this kind of treatment in other agencies I reached out to. This to me spoke volumes on how much they give importance to their clients, and for me that was a clue that their caregivers must also be great. Their coordinator Joy met with me at the rehab center a few days before my aunt was discharged. Joy came on time, prepared with her company information, relevant questions and a genuine concern for my aunt, which made her feel very comfortable with the process. I was actually shocked that my aunt showed openness to the care and I believe a huge part of it was because of the warmth that Joy showed her during the appointment. Joy and her team were very organized and hands on. They walked me through the process, and did all that they said they would do. The day after, I interviewed a couple of candidates whom I really liked. They were all professional, experienced and most of all they were good in communication which fits my aunt who is very expressive and outspoken. Joy really took note of the assessment findings that she finalized with me during the end of our meeting. Fast forward to today, my aunt and I are very happy with the services they are providing. From the office staff to the caregivers, I only have positive words to say about this team. I really appreciate you guys very much!

Based on my family's experience these past six months for my mother in law, I would give SIX stars out of five to Southern California Caregiving Services. We are beyond satisfied with the caregivers and management who have eased this difficult transition in her life from living alone to 24 hour care, improved her quality of life, and made this part of our (the kids') lives caring for her very easy. She is visibly happier which we are grateful for. When searching for a home care organization, I did considerable research online as well as through personal referrals and chose So Cal out of the other agencies based on the quality of interactions I had with its administrative staff Maribeth and Lou, the covid protocol for its caregivers, and the strong recommendations I received from Palos Verdes People (a Facebook group) and Nextdoor.My husband and I were also impressed by the organization's welcome packet which included a copy of its home care organization state license (a must for us that not all agencies have) as well as a list of its other licenses/certifications (state & fed tax ID #s, state corporation #, liability insurance, worker's comp, bond #, and Torrance business license), the upfront disclosure of which was assuring to me and my husband, both retired CPAs, for whom all such licensing was a requirement. No other agency we interviewed made this information easily available to us from their end.If you are in search of a quality, licensed home care organization that will give you peace of mind for the long term care needs of a loved one, I recommend Southern California Caregiving that I will use again for my own mother if/when the need arises.

When considering referring my family and friends for excellent and compassionate care, Southern California caregiving agency is my choice. Their administrative staff are friendly, efficient and conscientious. They respond to your needs right away without hesitation. Their caregivers are well trained, educated and compassionate. Caregivers are certified in CPR, First aid and underwent INITIAL CAREGIVING TRAINING and Continuing Education Units which is mandated by ASSEMBLY BILL 1217 /CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH. You can definitely trust this agency with your loved ones.

I saw this Home Care provider through Yelp. They were highly rated with 5 stars so our family gave them a try. I was amazed by the quality of home care services they provided for my grandmother during her final days. My grandmother's compassionate caretakers made sure she is comfortable at home and managed her pain through careful coordination with her hospice agency. Even the hospice nurses were amazed by our caretakers. It impressed me even more that this agency has 24/7 customer service. I found that out when they promptly found us a replacement caregiver during one Holiday evening, when our regular caregiver had an emergency and couldn't come to work. Their staffing personnel, Lottie and Ivy, were also very courteous and professional. Our family feels very blessed and happy with this So Ca Caregiving.

SoCal Caregiving definitely exceeded our family's expectations as a Home Care Services provider in the Southbay area. They provide quick and very professional care service. The caregivers assigned to my family member were very caring and sympathetic. There were times that I would have requests in the wee hours of the evening and they would promptly respond to my concerns. I feel at peace to know that my family member is well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this care provider for those looking for quality and hands on care for their family.
