I love this store so much. Every-time I come to visit California I make sure to stop by and purchase some trinkets and such for my travels. But today (May 20th) I witnessed a manager yell at an employee, in a truly horrific and unpleasant manner. She told the poor employee that wearing a hat is not professional when in fact he was in what I would consider more than proper attire for a game store! That older lady was the most unprofessional person in that store considering there was no attempt at a whisper, private conversation, or covering up with other noises. She flat out yelled at him with customers in the store nearly making me not purchase anything from there in the first place. Steven I’m sorry you must endure that emotional torture and I hope she responds with the apology that you deserve.

Well stocked on the latest Magic the Gathering set (Dragonstorm at time of this review) and run by super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend supporting them for general board/card game product and they're a great store to attend for pre release events.

Had a rude employee help me out yesterday around 7:25pm. A 16 year old looking chubby kid. Terrible costumer service, telling me & my 9yr old son the reason he's being disrespectful is because someone pulled a knife on him the day before & called him fat. An incident that had nothing to do with me or my son, yet he decided it was a great idea to tell me & my son while being rude. Stay away from this store & this employee in particular unless you want to get disrespected by a 16 yr old goof.

This is my favorite game store!
I come here every once in a while to get Magic: The Gathering cards or look through bulk singles. It's a very comfortable place for me. I'm a woman and I used to be kind of afraid of game stores, but I have felt nothing but safe here. Great selection of MTG and Warhammer items, really fun draft events, and kind staff. Some people have been saying that the staff is rude, but I have never once gotten that impression. They always help me if I'm looking for something obscure, and when I was just starting to get into MTG, they were very kind, explained things well, and didn't gatekeep. Also I always find great gifts for family members when I'm here, which is a huge bonus!

I have never encountered more rude or combative staff. Blatently upcharging and selling false products to children and families !
And when asked about such they claim its a "convience fee", what the hell??? Unacceptable, I and everyone I bring here will now be visiting a different local shop that respects theit customers !

For the majority of the time employees are pretty chill. However there is one employee that is very rude and doesn't have any customer service qualities. Used to be a pretty decent store to go to for stuff but lately it hasn't been up to par. The prices are also higher than other card stores.

Not so friendly environment like other reviews state, only star they are getting from me is because I was able to purchase something for my daughter. Other than that very rude personnel, employees don’t take pride in what they do nor to represent the company. Company has a kid working with no manners whatsoever.
