Horrendous place. Don't put your health at stake with these people. If you need surgery and also require pain medication they will treat you like a drug seeker. Do not go here for anything. They will tell you that they don't have it in stock on so you don't go there for pain medication and now you have to go back to your doctor and get another prescription which can take days. In the meantime you are suffering in pain because of their judgmental attitude. Very inconvenient situation here. These plenty of other places that treat people like human beings. The pharmacist is just bitter and angry every day. She is rude and nasty to people no matter what.

Lately, I was having to go to multiple pharmacies to get my medication's. After going for more than a week without my medication, three different local pharmacies in San Pedro did not have the medication in stock there's a national shortage this pharmacy has been able to not only fill my prescriptions, but also has great customer service and knowledgeable pharmacists, who have explained meds and even asked me about possible different interactions. I have one medication that I'm taking temporarily, where you cannot eat certain things it will have a bad reaction. I was so happy she told me to wait a day because I had actually eaten some of the foods that cause stomach upset with that medication five star customer service and five stars for having items in stock. It says compounding I think they make medication there. They also do many other services that are listed when you enter the property, it's located inside a medical building parking is super convenient. It's worth the drive to get all my medication at one place instead of driving to multiple pharmacies also, they have some very cool hospital. Type gift shop stuff. I bought a cute Kitty cat that looks like the one we have at home.

Parking is horrible. They need parking section for pharmacy only. It shouldn't take longer to find parking then it does to pick up a prescription.

[Review #716]2022 Yelp 100 Challenge (37/100)Our optometrist, Dr. Mayeda, consulted with us to use atropine eye drops for my kids to stabilize/treat their myopia. Since it's an atypical medicine that we can't pick-up at our local drug store or pharmacy, she recommended Tormed Pharmacy Compounding Center to custom prep these drops. Unfortunately, these specialized drops are not covered by my insurance even though it's not cosmetic & preventative. Depending on the dosage, it runs between $50 - $60 for a 45-day supply. It's pricey for 0.5 fl. oz. (possibly less), but well worth it if it stabilizes my children's vision in the long run. The prescription comes with 3 frozen bottles; 2 need to be stored in the freezer with 1 kept in the fridge to be used within 15 days, with the next bottle to be thawed the day before the 15-day limit is up. If there are drops left after the time limit, they need to be thrown out. There seems to be about 2 - 4 days worth, so if you work out the math, I'm throwing out about $5 worth of meds & 3 bottles is $15, which is approximately 25% waste. My kids need to be on these drops at least a year, so I'm throwing away $240 that could definitely be used for other essential needs.\(`0´)/The pharmacy is located in a medical building off Lomita Blvd. & Medical Center Dr. on the 1st floor. While there are a lot of nearby spaces, finding an open one near the entrance is impossible; I'm often parked a couple of lots over or at the parking structure. No easy in & out here. Business hours are similar to office hours with Saturday opened from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, providing some minor convenience for picking up a prescription. Turnaround time is pretty quick when I need to pick-up a refill, but actual wait time varies on the number of customers. Staff are helpful & friendly, whether I'm calling in or in-person waiting for my prescription... though the hodgepodge spacing might make it confusing as to who is waiting to be served & who is waiting to pick-up their meds.If at the end of the treatment plan & the atropine eye drops were useful, I'll re-evaluate the rating in a year's time. For now, I'm docking stars for my wasted funds. :-|

I have been going to this small little pharmacy for like 3 years. They are always super busy because they are attached to the hospital and a lot of smaller doctors offices, but they will let you know over the phone whether they can fill your script-which is rare.

They usually have what you need. When others are out of stock. Just beware what insurance they accept and ones they do not!!!! ?

I have been going to Tormed for quit some time now for my pain meds. I love the service. Always prompt to serve me. No long lines and long wait times. I love the doctor pharmacy direct system. No more little sheets of paper that get lost.

This pharmacy is disorganized; my first two times going here despite calling in advance same day and having reassurances that the prescriptions would be ready, I had to wait at least 50 min one time and 15 min the next time. Difficult to wait since I'm pregnant (3rd trimester) and it's hard to stand for very long, and they have no chairs in the pharmacy. Communication within the pharmacy itself isn't good continuity-wise. Ie, I requested a refill on a Friday, was told it wouldn't be ready until Monday due to insurance reasons, was assured it would be ready on Monday, and then when I came to pick-up, the pharmacy wasn't prepared.I go to my doctor's office which is in the same building. I had excellent service at the Plaza Pharmacy in the "3400 Lomita Blvd" building next door in the past, so transferred my prescriptions there instead. (I had initially opted for Tormed by mistake, thinking it was the Plaza one.)

Walked into the building for a doctors appointment not realizing I needed a mask just to enter the building. The only place to grab one was the pharmacy which charged $6.56 for a DISPOSABLE mask!!!! Talk about price gouging and taking advantage of people. Then the pharmacist had the nerve to tell me "oh well there's two in the pack for you." Come on. In what world is it okay to charge that much for a mask.
