After getting rejected from a major hospital urgent care for having insurance; nobody wants to deal with you if your insurance has a PPO logo on it. Trying to find a healthcare provider approved with an appointment was stressful.Called Torrance Memorial Urgent Care, had less than an hour before closing time, and they took me in right away. The entire staff, from the front desk, nurses, and doctors, took my symptoms serious and professionally. Really recommend this place, caring, and they show they cared.Felt relieved and thankful. 10 stars, amigos!

Past visits with Urgent care for potential upper respiratory issues, I would always had to get in to see my Internist after ASAP to get medical attentions. I have been to Urgent Care ( at other locations ) many times with Inner ear issues, sore throat and coughs , which these symptoms worsen after initial visit to the Urgent Care , one visit to the Urgent Care my conditions worsen and called my Internist and got medical treatment for pneumonia. At Urgent Care I have tried to always convey to PA or Doctor about my medical history , that I'm prone to getting pneumonia , sinus infection and inner ear infection. Recently , I had bladder infection , treatment was given by Urgent Care , I went to Urgent Care for rash on my hands and sore throat, I was told I had eczema on my hands and nasal drip causing the sore throat. My sore throat worsen that night and day after with bad coughs , return to Urgent Care again with sore throat, coughs and fever 100.1 in the morning at home , at Urgent Care took another Covid test again ( 2 in two days ) and X-rays , CD of X-rays was given to me , but no notification of result for the X-rays taken , I guess no news is good news. The PA , on day two of my visit to Urgent care for the same symptoms said the same thing, nasal drip is causing sore throat the PA prescribed antibiotic as precaution with instructions, Instructions was to wait couple days and start taking the meds, well that night I was coughing I started on meds this was Tuesday today Thursday I'm still coughing and continue to have symptoms of bronchitis. Going to see my InternistOn Friday ( day 5 of onset of my symptoms ) . Thanks to the PA , proscribed the meds , I could of been in worse condition. I was able to see my Internist , my Doctor put me on another 5 days of antibiotics, and I began to feel much better ..

Staff was very nice and caring. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and only had to wait about 10 minute to be called back. They were quick but took the time to make sure they explained everything and asked if I had any questions.

Not the place if you want to feel important especially when you can’t breathe, I understand you closed at 5, I got there at 4:06pm and the ladies at the desk act as if they wish they never seen me. When I told one of the ladies my symptoms she instantly wrote me two other urgent care on a piece of paper and stated we don’t do X-rays all while I can’t breathe. Very rude and unprofessional. I will get their names tomorrow.

Had a horrible experience here last night. I went in for a heart palpitations and muscle weakness/spams. The nurse gave me an EKG and took my BP but that's all that was done for me. The doctor I was seen by asked me what I wanted him to do for me. I felt that was so non empathetic. Then while I was speaking he would cut me off and try to tell me how I should feel. He told me there's nothing we can do for you here you need to find a doctor; news flash sir aren't you a doctor and shouldn't you be helping me. I get I was the last min patient, but that's no excuse to treat me like I'm less than human and doesn't deserve care. He insulted me by giving me phone numbers to the call center to find a doctor as if I couldn't go find one for myself. I came to urgent care because I felt unwell and al most passed out while working out. Today 3/8/23 I'm still not well missed work with no doctors excuse, and you guys took my last 25$ for a copay and did nothing. Now, I'm sitting at home in pain and scared. I would appreciate a call back from someone higher up, because I feel mistreated and racially discriminated against. Sorry for the yelp because I love this medical group but this is the only way I know I can be heard.I was seen by PA Joseph Daphne

Caring and competent staff. They took excellent care of my spouse, who has a deep cough and cold.. Our doctor was knowledgeable and spent time answering all of our questions.

I called the clinic around noon today to ask for the instruction of how to get medical records for my dad. After getting to know we need the medical records for insurance purposes, the representative directed us to let the insurance to contact the clinic directly. We tell her that my dad has travelers insurance which doesn't contact with physicians's office and ask if there's anyway we can get the medical records ourselves, she insist in the answer that they need the insurance to contact them. I need to argue and address that patients have the right to get their own medical records, then she finally let us know we can go onset to pick it up. The whole conversation is so unpleasant and difficult that we feel we are not being helped but need to fight our way to get the answers. I contacted the Torrance memorial urgent care in El Segundo location later and are able to get the instruction in a more considerable way. I give 3 starts instead of one because I have a good impression to TMMC system for all these years. But improvements for individuals are needed.

I have to come here 3 times in a week and not yet well after that. The doctors here gave me cough meds good only for 3 days that I have to go back and ask for more meds and gave me additional meds for 2 days and still have coughs after that then asked for more again. After a week, I still have cough and swollen throat. i should have went to a different urgent care. I also saw someone that collapsed while waiting here so go to a different agent care or ER if you are extremely sick. Waiting time here is always 1 hour minimum. Even of you are the 1st in line, they will still make you wait for 1 hour.

My friend asked me to take her to this urgent care. She had been having some serious health issues, and had gone to 3 different ERs. She'd also spent 3 days as an inpatient in another hospital. But she was still having trouble breathing, swallowing, and her heart was not acting right.There were two young women working behind plexiglass at the reception area. It was only a few minutes before my friend was checked in. The waiting room seemed clean, and every other chair was blocked off for safety.It seemed to be only 20-30 minutes before they called her into the back area, where the doctors were.She texted me with updates as to how her vital signs were, and that she was still waiting for a doctor.More and more patients were filling up the waiting room. One of the receptionists actually asked me if I'd been helped, as she noticed I was sitting there alone. I told her I was waiting for my friend, but that I was going out to my car to wait for my friend there, and charge up my phone battery.It seemed like only a few minutes had passed, and there was someone knocking on my car's window. It was my friend, and she was all finished!She was happy with the doctor, and she was going to have to see 2 different specialists the next day.I felt like this urgent care started to send her in the right direction. It seemed like she'd finally begun to get the care she'd been needing!She still has a ways to go, I think. But, the diagnosis and recommendations from this urgent care were so helpful to her.I want to thank the staff for being kind and patient as well.
