I understand completely why Walmarts service area has such a low rating!! Came in at the end of the day for a battery and was told to come back the next day because they were closing up. I specifically Asked if I needed an appointment and was told no! So I came in the very next morning and was directed to pull up to be serviced by 2 guys, then a lady lead comes out stopping the guy saying I needed an appointment and couldn't be serviced!! She said that I could buy a battery but they couldn't install it without an appointment!! Went to one of the guys to make an appointment and he asks her straight up when they started making appointments for batteries smh!?! She snatched the tablet out of his hand and was like I'll do it myself!! I ask her why i was never told that I needed an appointment and why every one from the service area inside, to online, to the guys outside said i didn't need an appointment.. She try's to tell me that they're backed up- Even tho there was plenty of guys standing around and only one other car there besides me.. I ask her how long it takes to install a battery and she says less than 20 minutes- So Im thinking in all this time we've been going back and forth, the battery could've been in my car lol!! She then goes in the store and came out with her phone trying to tell me my battery was outta stock!! At that point I just got in my car and left because before I came out to pull my car in to be serviced, I had gone inside the auto area first to purchase the battery and the guy had shown me 3 different versions and prices of batteries for my car that they had on hand!! He told me to go outside and have the guys grab it to avoid paying a fee that you get when you don't give them your battery!! I was so done letting this lady play in my face and rattle off untruths!!! I'm so glad I called one of my friends to vent because they directed me over to Autozone where I grabbed a battery and they installed it no problem!!

Precious is the employee batteries and tire department She has a bad attitude,its not my fault you have to go to lunch break and you have a bad attitude to customers If its not your day,please don't make the customers feel that way because its not your day.

Be careful getting your oil changed here, I checked my oil level a couple days after getting my oil changed and it was significantly higher than it should have been. A different mechanic told me that it was at a level that could have flooded and killed the entire engine. I ended up taking about a quart of oil out of the car (shown in the photo of the oil pan) to get it to the correct level. The arrow in the photo shows where the oil level was and you can see the second indicator hole is well below that level. It should be between the 2 holes not over half an inch above it! So disappointing.

Every time I come here to try to get an oil change they lie and always say we’re not taking anymore cars when it’s barely 3pm or they say they’re only taking appointments but on the website it says otherwise. Don’t waste your time coming here. Laziest people

Terrible service ever, DO NOT come here for any reason. Every time I go there, they waste my time. They take at least 3 hours to just change the oil. Most of the time they said there is not enough mechanical to help you.If you think of coming here believe me you will get the worst service ever.

Make sure that you get here or call at least an hour before closing to ensure that they have time to service your vehicle.

I took my car for oil change & no one came to help me only when I asked for service one person whom was just walking around & laughing & talking told me someone would be with me & it took a long time to get help.. then I went shopping while my car was being serviced & had another bad experience with the children's body wash 4.99$ locked up in a case which i pushed the help button for over 20 minutes & no one came to my help ? so whatever I hade in my basket I left it right in front of the locked case to show you that you lost business for bad ? service?

This place is a JOKE! Disorganization at it's finest. I've called twice to schedule an oil change, and after 3 or 4 times being hung up on by people who said "hold please", I finally got through to speak with someone with whom I scheduled a service. BOTH TIMES I DID THIS I arrived to Walmart Auto Center at the appointed hour only to be told they were not able to service my car because of a lack of technicians on-site. The first appointment time was in the early afternoon, at which time they had no techs. The second time was midmorning, at which time, again, no techs. I informed the Manager that this had happened twice, and he answered with true hostility, "Tell that s*** to corporate! They keep it this way, not us!" I just shook my head at the whole Walmart disorganized, low morale work environment that Corporate Walmart apparently fosters, and at that moment decided I would avoid shopping Walmart, or dealing with this company as much as I personally possibly could. I have no illusions that, in this day and age, that I won't at some point be forced to cross paths with Walmart again, but I can definitely say that it will be ONLY ever as a very bottom of the barrel last resort. I DO NOT recommend shopping Walmart. I COULD NOT, in good conscience, recommend dealing with Walmart in any way, shape or form. Period.

Iam a 75 year old lady and I Brought my car in for oil change at the Walmart on Normandie and I have been waiting 2 hrs, got here at 11:30. Shopped for food and took my time was done 1 1/2 hr have frozen items and still waiting for my car. All employees here in this department are on a long long break car still not done. 2:00 pm. Employees here are on their own scheduled time. Forget the customer.Will never recommended this place!!!!

On Saturday, I scheduled a tire order and reservation service for Friday at 6 pm, and I adjusted my entire schedule accordingly. However, they unilaterally canceled the reservation on the day itself at 3 pm. I had checked for three days to ensure the accuracy of the reservation, but they committed the atrocious act of canceling it on the same day. Furthermore, they notified me that they were out of engine oil inventory, but when I went to the store, there were plenty of them piled up. Everything was a mess from top to bottom. They don't care about the customer's ordered products' incoming and management, nor do they care about the date the customer reserved. They ignore the customer's opinion on all services and try to do it their way. I don't understand why they allow online ordering and reservations if they are going to behave like this. So I canceled all orders and reservations and deleted my Walmart account. However, the day after I deleted it, they charged the tire price as they pleased. I am currently consulting with a lawyer regarding this matter, and I will file a lawsuit if necessary. If you don't want to meet Walmart in court like me, never use their services.

They refused to replace a battery that was still under warranty, so I have to contact the Walmart customer service to force them to do their job.

Don't waste your time going here. Customer service is horrible. Good luck finding a manger when the customer service rep doesn't help you. This is not the place to buy tires.
