My first time shopping at this Torrance location; overall, the store is clean, there are enough staff members, and they are quite helpful and nice. I asked a few questions regarding the things I wanted. My only issue was that at two different places, two groups of people were begging for money to eat inside the store; to me, this was a red signal, especially for the ladies and children buying. I did not see any security officers, and outside the store, only a few yards from the main door, there were three less fortunate indigents asking for money; I do not mind giving, but they approach so near that you have to be on watch. I gave them some change.
My best recommendation is to be on alert not to much with the guys outside the store but with the individuals inside the store.

Hundreds of people trying to check out and only 3 maned registers and self checkout. Line didn't move for about 10 minutes. Self checkout doesn't take cash. Walmart quality has gone to the dumpster

I don't like going to this Walmart because it's a older store and there's always something going on with the police at the of the store when I go there.

I Was very disappointed that they dont have enough wheel chairs available. Then they removed the seating at the front door. They then send you over to pharmacy to sit there to wait for a wheel chair. I must say the door attendant was very courteous and tried very much to accommodate me by stating that he would walk over and let me know when a wheelchair would be available.Walmart really needs to invest in a few more wheelchairs for their customers. Also Walmart needs put the seats back at the front door so the customer does not have to walk around the corner when they're in pain to find somewhere to sit. And not only did they not have wheelchairs they didn't even have regular baskets for the customers and people were just sitting around waiting for a basket, in my eyes this is poor customer service. If I could just rated the door attendant he would get a five-star!

You can have people with no customer service skills work at the customer service. I was trying to return some stuff I bought earlier and this lady who was working. Customer service was as rude as possible to me for no reason.
