Service is poor. Many branches are closed. No notification of customers that local branches will be closed. Did not update Yelp! I had to go to 3 different branches to find one that's open.

I went to this Wells Fargo in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd today 1/31/24, to make a deposit for my sister. A female worker came from behind her desk to ask customers if she could help (My joy soon turned to sadness) when she got to me, I told her what I was doing there. She said cash, they don't take cash, I was surprised and her TONE CHANGED TO ARGUMENTATIVE. I told her "oh No, No argument". She proceeded to tell me (with the same TONE IN HER VOICE) about the government and what forms of deposits they take cashier's check or a personal check, I told her I have checks. I am overjoyed that I closed all of my accounts with Wells Fargo recently. Nasty female and proof that the bank has gone down. I gave her no reason to want to argue with me.

When you entrust a bank with your money you are entrusting them with your livelihood. So it is a shame to see bank officials lose sight of this. My one and only quivel is with the woman who identified herself as the branch manager. My grandpa and I did everything by the book and above board, and she chose to get personal with us with us rather than professional, operating in a manner that undoubtedly is not how any other Wells Fargo manager would have behaved. When I took my grandpa to the bank he has entrusted with his livelihood for over 30 years, the bank manager got brusque and dismissive toward us saying that my grandpa has no right to get his bank records and that she will only deal with one someone who does not even have conservatorship. Then the bank manager had the nerve to give me tips on how to live my life, and when I called her out on it, she denied having just done it. She was rude and condescending to both me and my grandpa (who has been a client for over 30 years and still has everything in his name until the court deems otherwise) and demonstrated a lack of integrity by refusing to own up to being brusque and curt. She has clearly lost sight on how to be kind and helpful toward her clients and demonstrated a comfort in being defensive and dismissive in helping a man in need of merely his bank records. Shame on the manager here. She is either intentionally trying to hurt her client or does not care about the well being of her client. She should also get retrained to not deny a client bank records unless the client has a conservator. Absolutely do not trust this bank to take care of your financial needs and livelihood as long as the manager is operating in the manner she demonstrated today.

The people who work here are genuinely so slow in the head. I think they just hire people who know basic math and can speak English. The tellers act like they got a gun to their heads when you want to cash a WELLS FARGO check. It takes 30 minutes to get to a teller window and it takes another 15 min to finish a basic transaction. The hire pool is declining if this are the people who work here.

This branch used to be the best. After some huge overhaul in Sept 2023...the usual employees are no longer there. There are usually only 1 or 2 tellers working even when the line is to the door. Some manager lady runs around asking if anyone needs help instead of actually helpingif she can help

Horrible customer service. Do not visit or bank at this branch. Went to deposit a check for my son who is in college at another state. And they would not let me make the deposit. I had a picture of my sons drivers license and his account number and I even had him on the phone. The teller said he had to ask his branch manager and she said no. Ridiculous!!! Now I understand this bank itself has a had numerous problems but when you have every piece of ID and information needed to make a deposit not a withdrawal a deposit there should not have been any problems. I went to school first bank across the way where my son also has an account and was able to make a deposit with no problems. Interesting. So because if this situation, I do not recommend doing business with this bank. When my son returns from college he will be closing his account indefinitely with Wells Fargo Bank.

I have 8 accounts with wells Fargo branch Del Amo Torrance, they charge me so much fees between account fees, cash deposit fees, and so many account service fees which can't be explained when I question. I went to the Branch last week to get a temporary checks for an account I was out of checks for, they wanted to charge me one dollar for each check, I asked the Manager Dina to waive the fees since I am an old business customer who does pay so much fees, she refused and was rude, I only wanted 3 checks and I had to pay $3 for it. the worst customer services ever. I remember few years ago they were opening customers accounts without those customers knowledge and I was one of those, they had a law suit against them, and they had to refund those customers few dollars for the fraud, I received $12 at that time for an account they opened by my name without my knowledge. be aware.

I wanted to thank Chris, my banker, and Santya , my teller. They were very courteous and professional and kind to my elderly father 87yo. It’s wonderful to see very kind people in the banking system these days - please keep up the good work.

Very long wait .... in line for over an hour while other folks got moved to the front of the line ... looked like personal friends of bankers and then they said my signatures did not match after going through about 5 different verifications from social sec# to pin#.... not a good experience

Waited in line at this branch for over an hour. It looked like personal friends of bankers. We're getting moved to the front of the line so that they didn't have to wait. Frustrating seeing people that came forty-five minutes after I did get moved up in line or have their banking taken care of. Not to mention over an hour and line is uncalled for.

This place is horrible, I come here at least 3 4 times out the week, and every single time I come here there is a line to the door sometimes out the door. They keep 1 or 2 tellers and everyone else is just sitting or standing around. Be prepared to wait at least 45 mins to an hour just to see a teller..

You’ll be waiting in line for a while. Today was 10 people in line with two tellers. 6 other employees standing around looking at the line. Weird structure in employment when the demand is clearly people needing help with tellers.

Worst experience ever I was only here to get some quarters while waiting inline I was playing pokemon go and accused me of recording if I was only searching for a pokemon and even if I did proof my innocents they kick me out worse bank location ever
