The Torrance branch employees are ok just not the manager(s). The manages at sneaky & undercut good employees from getting their just deserve.

Went here the other day to deposit a check and get info on a home equity line of credit. Teller was quick, efficient and friendly. Talked to manager about home equity line rates, his name is Eli Norkin. He was super professional and very well-informed. He spent probably 1/2 hour going from A to Z regarding the home equity line. Eli made it really easy to understand how it all works. I know that I'm very well taken care of here at Wescom and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I highly recommend coming here!

Don't get your roll of quarters at this location because they don't give you the full $10 dollars. I got twenty dollars worth of quarters but both packages were missing .25 cents, now this may not seem like a lot but is the principal you're stealing 25 cents for me he stole 50 cents from me it will add up I expect to get my full $10.

Been a member here for many years (decades), even worked here for a couple years. Platinum member. Great place and fan of Frances (if she's still there), Cindy (if she's still there), and Vincent Vinzi, who was my boss back in the day.But not a fan of the current branch manager. Kind of stood up in his glass-walled office and intensely stared when I came in recently, like he thought I was going to hold up the place. 5 star credit union but will give it 3 because of the manager, norkin I think his name is.

I have been a customer with Wescom Credit Union for about a decade. They used to provide much better customer service. But ever since the pandemic, of course nothing is the same. Most of the tellers working there, I no longer know because I think many of them either transfer or quit. The manager is helpful, if you catch him on a good day. Otherwise forget it. Wescom does have a very poor mortgage department located in Anaheim. I took out a mortgage with them a few years ago, and they totally screwed up the figures on my mortgage especially during closing when the notary and I waited a long time for answers. The one good thing they have going for them is the teller line is short with two or three people waiting, many times there is no teller line at all. By the way, if you need a safe deposit box; most credit unions do not have them.

Had an APPOINTMENT. Sat on hold to make an appt. Diddly squat. I checked in and no one came. Parking is awful.

I have banked with Wescom for over 10 years and honestly I'm not sure why I stayed for so long. Hold times are so long and you get charged to transfer money within your own account(s). Recently I applied for an auto loan online that was supposed to have been processed within one day. First, I never received any kind of communication or confirmation via email with the status. I called on the second day to check on the status and she said it looked like my debt was too high. I literally have less than $5k in debt, have good income, have excellent credit, and have never had an issue obtaining an auto loan through dealerships. She said she "didn't know what kind of institutions I've dealt with before but they check everything" and someone would call me back later that day since a final decision hasn't been made yet (I'm still waiting. It's been 4 days). After hearing that, I went to another credit union and was approved on the spot. They also have better service, hold times are short, and they have much more to offer. I will be closing my account with wescom very soon and I'm glad. I won't be needing a loan from them anymore.
