Overall pretty clean but definitely doesn’t have what most other stores have!! What was a big no no for me was the customer service from the manager named Bora!!! She definitely had an ugly attitude is not afraid to confront you! She feels like the store is her’s and so secure like she’s untouchable and irreplaceable! Bora definitely needs to humble down and act more professional, use a better tone, and learn how to listen to the customers and try to come out with a positive attitude/ mindset instead of dragging it! I frequently go to Zara stores and never had such a negative experience. She needs an attitude adjustment asap! Not the type of management standard/ status I expect from Zara! No wonder this particular store has such bad reviews!! It all reflects and shows on the manager!!! The manager doing a bad job!! The manager should be leading and showing the example.

⭐ 1 Star Review
Date of Visit: October 23, 2025
Location: Zara Kids – Del Amo Fashion Center
Manager on Duty: Geisy
General Manager: Bora
I am absolutely appalled and heartbroken by the treatment I received at this Zara Kids location today. I’ve been one of Zara’s most loyal customers, spending nearly $20,000 this year alone between Zara and Zara Kids for my family. Yet today, I was treated like my business meant nothing.
I came in simply to exchange (not return) a pair of sweatpants for my daughter — one of several items totaling over $500 from my recent purchase. When I brought them in, I was told the item couldn’t be exchanged because a small inner tag was cut. I hadn’t noticed this when I purchased it, and it certainly wasn’t something I did myself. Despite calmly explaining this to the store manager, Geisy, she refused to help. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with the General Manager, Bora, I was told she wouldn’t even come out to speak with me.
Let that sink in — after years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent, Zara was willing to lose a long-term, high-value customer over a $25 pair of sweatpants. No empathy. No accountability. No effort to make it right.
I left the store completely disheartened. I’ve always loved Zara’s products, but after this experience, I can no longer support a company that refuses to value its customers — especially those who have invested so much in their brand.
Zara, you’ve lost me as a customer for good. I will be sharing this experience so others know how little this store values loyalty and fairness.

One of the worst experience. The quality of product is worst. The manager is rude, she given me customer care no but they didn't help too. The blue sweater we bought within 1 used threads are coming out and on hand also the same condition. It has not even washed. Try to explain the same to the Manager but very rude response. I can see another Zara is another forever21.

This was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. I went into the store on a Tuesday and bought some shirts for my brother. When he tried one on, it was too small, so we went back just a 3 days later (his first day off) to exchange it for a larger size.
Instead of helping, the employee accused us of returning a shirt we had worn and washed. They literally kept smelling the shirt and insisted it had been laundered even though the tag was still attached, the shirt clearly didn’t fit, and there was no damage or shrinkage that would suggest it had ever been washed.
To make matters worse, they called over two more employees and even brought a shirt from the backroom to compare the smell. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. We were just trying to exchange for a bigger size.
The manager’s attitude was even worse. She was rude, dismissive, and kept repeating that they don’t take back “laundry shirts.” The whole situation was handled unprofessionally, and instead of treating us like valued customers, they treated us like we were doing something wrong.
I will not be returning to this store again.

The workers here are incredibly rude and lazy. The store looks an absolute mess, nothing was folded at all on tables, I simply walked out of the dressing room with a dress on the hanger that slipped off because the dress straps were in fact broken. My hands were full so I quickly grabbed it and gave it to the worker in the dressing room apologizing. He rolls his eyes scoffs and announces to the dressing room yelling “put clothes back on the hanger.” I’m sorry I work in retail too, please do not act like its that hard to put one dress back on it’s hanger. No worker in there was doing anything at all actually. This actually has to be the worst managed Zara in Los Angeles.

I was in this store today at about two o'clock in the afternoon, the girl in the fitting room was very rude to me in front of other people, this is not acceptable with any people, let alone employees, I came to the store to buy clothes, ended up stressed and went home, I don't want to be rude in response because I understand that people work and get tired, but damn why should I suffer because of this!? Very incompetent and terrible, I got the feeling that they did not do me a huge favor by letting me come there. I think if you are not happy with something at work, you should tell your boss and not take out your anger on customers, we also have our own concerns and when I went out to have fun on my only day off, I don't want to get negativity for my own money!I came for shopping not for drama

In my experience buying at this location terrible never thought the security guard was following me hahaha (funny!!) When I was at the first floor getting some shirts and left them bc I didn’t want it to carry them up stairs and don’t let me pay upstairs, but when I was up stairs I turned around the “security guard was behind me.and I was like probably he’s just being around so I continue looking around and I finished buying some stuff from the male section” and he started walking to the elevator and he yes walk me out to the Exit!
I guess if you look “Latina they will be your shadow uncomfortable to peacefully buy,and decide what to buy.
Bc the store was full of other customers and he decided to just follow me and my daughter.
I didn’t enjoy buying my needs, didn’t got the chance to go back and get my T-shirt the I was going to buy bc literally like he was kicking you out
It felt like those stores “buy and leave” “you touch you buy” lmao

Today I had the worst experience with a terrible customer service. On Thursday, April
10, literally 2 days ago I bought a pair of mens boots. When I went home and tried them again they were too tight. I came to the store today and they refused to accept them back because the condition. The condition that they sold them to me. The manager was very rude and with a lack of empathy. They need to train the staff to make sure if they’re selling a merchandise that previously someone returned that they have a system to notify the customer at the time of purchase.

I am absolutely appalled at service received today by “manager” Geisy. I requested an email to write to general manager and instead I was provided with the general customer service number. I received 2 gifts from family via mail for my son’s birthday.
Receipt states, “ Returns with this Gift Receipt will be refunded in the form of a Store Credit Card or Store Credit Receipt.
The return or exchange period is 30 days from the date indicated on this receipt.
This receipt is essential in order to receive a refund or exchange items. Please remember that the easiest way to return an item is in one of our stores. More information on www.zara.com: Help - Exchanges and returns”
I was informed immediately that I could not exchange and that items would be needed to refunded to the person who purchased this gift. Not only is this contradictory to Zara policy and what’s stated on receipt.
After trying to figure out the best solution for me, & seeing if I could exchange atleast for a different size same item and receiving such a condescending attitudes from Geist. I ask her to just refund the item and in the end the receipt printed the gift card store reciept (that she initially said was not possible) printed on receipt. She stated that I still won’t be able to use that barcode and have to wait for an email with gift card. I asked her to riddle me and scan a random item and then the gift card barcode on receipt. As she’s scanning I stated “if this works, then we all learned something today.” She stopped and looked at me and said “that comment was totally unnecessary” . I told her what I stated was a factual statement as if this works then she can use what she and I learned for future interactions. She then proceeds to tell me in disrespectful. & i advised that my statement “if this works, then we all learned something today” shouldn’t have been taking personally especially in customer service position.
Either way I hope 2 things come from this. Proper training for online return / exchanges as I’m sure I’m not the first or last person trying to exchange an online purchases and secondly, manager training for Geisy to always try and find the best solutions for her customers even if it means to reach out to general manager to see how other stores have been able to help customers.
I would like someone to reach out back to me with an update. Thank you for your time.

Doesn’t open punctually, staffs are neither present nor ready at the cashier 10min after open, they start chatting with coworkers when they call customers waiting in line, so we’d have to awkwardly wait for them to stop chatting to get service. Very unusual experience to see such unprofessionalism at a retail store. Wouldn’t recommend this location.

I've been to this place a few times, but the service is consistently bad, and it seems like they don't care at all. I'd rather shop online than come here and leave feeling ignored and unhappy.

Too expensive, compared to Portugal, Zara of portos has better quality for a much lower price 100% linen shirts for €25 euros and the styles are way better

The cashier with the dreads was rude.
The manager was ever worse.
It was so horrible i literally was wondering why all the employees were so mad and the female manager on shift today around 5/6 PM had 1. Nasty attitude, 2. Kept rolling her eyes, & 3. Didnt even communicate with me at the register.
For such a nice establishment they have to hire better people its like a bunch of badly raised kids running a store.
