“I recently got a new puppy and I've visited at least half a dozen pet supply stores in the last month - everything from the big chain stores to the small business ones like this one. I have to say that of all the pet stores, this one really stood out! First of all, I had the pleasure of interacting with Jason, the manager (and I believe owner) of the store. He was extremely friendly and helpful! I went there looking for a specific dog treat and fortunately they had it. I picked up a couple bags of it, and then I asked Jason what other treats or chews would be good for a puppy. Jason took the time to explain the various chews to me and showed me which ones would be best for my puppy and which ones would not be so good. He was very honest and extremely helpful. I would much rather support a small business like this one as opposed to the large chain stores. They're located in a business park area off of Alicia Pkwy and Via Fabricante. If you happen to be in the area, I'd highly recommend stopping by and supporting this small business!”

“In the past when I shop for my pets I'm usually running around to multiple stores, because some have better prices than others and not all pet food stores carry the same items. Lately I have been coming here because even though they are more expensive than the bigger store names like Petco and Petsmart, they have been price matching for me, so I can get all my items in once place without having to pay the higher price tag, which I really appreciate (thanks Jennifer) and as long as it stays that way, they will continue to have all my business. I prefer to spend my money at smaller local stores anyway. In addition to that, when I'm there, the staff (thanks again Jennifer) is really good at asking you if you are finding what you need. And if you are not finding what you need, offering to order it for you and get it in stock. Customer service is sooooo important in any sales related job or business, but it is the #1 most overlooked thing by employees. When I am at the big stores like Petco or Petsmart, no employee ever asks if I'm finding what I need or offers to help. And even when you try getting any employee to help they can usually be hard to track one down or get one that doesn't seem annoyed to help. So thank you Pets Plus for actually caring about the customer's needs and not just making a buck. We notice the difference!”

“I like this family/local owned pet supply store. They have a couple of stores scattered across Orange County and I'm glad they have one in my city. They are well stocked with dog and cat supplies. They have a way better selection of dog harnesses here than they do at Petsmart down the street and there is a specific brand that I use for my dog that they only sell here. Every time that I come here the employees always super kind and helpful and make it a point to help you out and offer suggestions.”

“Our 13 yo Shih tzu came back from the groomer about 9 months ago coughing uncontrollably and we found out he had a Collapsed Trachea confirmed by his vet that evening. The coughing, honking, etc., was unbearable but our love for him and his quality of life had us searching for better options. The vet said it was incurable but something that could be managed with steroids and pain meds. He still coughed around the clock. I found Ask Ariel and started with the Collagen supplement-he coughed significantly less. Also gave him benadryl tabs occasionally. The next time I ordered collagen, I added the lypozymes. When we first rescued our dog, it had some fleas, and we got lucky with a visit with their veterinarian who comes in often and prescribed us flea medication. “I have a 100lb cane corso that is really picky with food. I can’t get him to eat any dry kibble without it being soaked in hot water or covered in 1/2 canned food. I got the chicken/turkey dry kibble and my cane corso will eat everything I give him in the bowl completely dry. Will definitely be back.”

Doodle owners know that finding a good groomer is difficult, we thought we'd give petsmart a go not expecting much as they are 50% cheaper than other groomers in the area but they did a great job! Most doodle groomers are lazy and will shave to the skin well our dog went in pretty shaggy and they did a great job on the trim. Thanks John!”

“I have not had the opportunity to visit your Center. We lived in high desert above Palm Springs. Riley and I were doing great! Then one daughter passed in Dec 2022 ⎌from aggressive lung cancer. My other daughter set me up in beautiful apt here in Laguna Woods Village . Riley isn’t doing well and not a happy dog. I’m progressively getting worse with Osteoarthritis and Ataxia. Really need to settle him in a home with yard, a family . He needs to run and stomp around with other pets or family members. He is approximately 4 years , fixed and very active. Loves people. “I ordered food for my foster cat online and opted to have it delivered. If I had known that they use Door Dash as their delivery service, I would have picked it up myself, as I have only had lousy service from that company. I got notification that Elwood had delivered my order, and when I saw the photo, you can imagine my surprise when it showed a bag from Mendocino Farms, rather than cat food. I called Door Dash immediately, and they said that they would send someone to retrieve the sandwich. They never did, so I ended up throwing it out. I still have no cat food. I call again, this time I'm put on hold for 25 minutes. I hung up and called again, and I was told that they reported the error to PetSmart and that I would get a refund in 5-7 working days. My cat is now very annoyed about having no food. This morning I went to the PetSmart from which I had placed my order, and the very nice manager, Dani, explained that they have nothing to do with the delivery, and if the error was Door Dash's, they would have to provide the refund. She was kind enough to buy the cat food for me, for which Sandy and I are most grateful. I still don't know where Elwood took my cat food, and I hope that Marie M didn't eat it for her lunch. Bottom line-PetSmart=YES!, Door Dash=NO!!!!!”

“Chris was outstanding. Talk about going above and beyond with his customer service. I just got a puppy and I was carrying him and needed a collar, name tag, leash, food, etc, and there was Chris. He saw me struggling with trying to get his name tag engraved and he offered to do it for me. I was so taken back by that and appreciated him so much. Then he proceeded to ask what else can I help you with and oh boy I definitely needed his expertise and he showed me the way and let me know the best good to get, toys, leash, collar, etc. He really gave me a wow on customer satisfaction. “Took my chiweenie, Rusko, in for a long overdue nail trim after he stopped letting me grind at home after years of beyond frustrating, but at least successful, attempts. I am always cautious bringing him to a groomer or vet for the first time, because while not ever aggressive, he’s very much defensive when he gets anxious and scared, especially if I’m not there with him. I communicated this with the groomer (shoulder length dark hair girl in her 20’s, wish I could remember her name) and recommended a muzzle just to be safe. She seemed confident and calm which made me both nervous and reassured at the same time lol.I walked out into the store area while she went to work but watched through the glass where he wouldn’t be able to see me. I was surprised, impressed, and beyond thankful with what I watched over the next 5 mins. She avoided the muzzle route, and confidently reassured his anxiety and defensive posturing, while simultaneously displaying a position of supportive control that was incredible. It’s obvious she not only has a ton of experience with, but also a deep love for and understanding of dogs. Not 5 mins later Rusko was new nail goofin right out the front door with a smile on his face, while I had one to match. Will absolutely be back again for the next trim!!Thanks again!”
