Not sure why BMO acquired Bank of the West but it wasn't to improve customer service. I broke away from work to take care of two things, and I walked away with neither of those two items taken care of. In the Bank of the West days, these transactions would have been easy. I was a customer of Bank of the West for over 20 years, and hold quite a bit of money there. Looks like I'll be a customer of BMO for less than 6 months. I'll be looking for a new bank.

This bank is no different than BOTW same situations. I’m tired of my card getting locked every other week. I have to go in and pull all my money out because of these issues. I understand scammers are out there but you are picking the wrong people. Iv had late fees on rent car payments and bills because of these issues ?

I want to give this bank some tecognition, especially to Monica and Dan for quickly addressing a minor issue I had with some processing. They helped addressed the overdraft fee instantly explaining the process of the 3 day holds on some purchases. Thank you so much. So far so good! ?

It is crazy to give this low Of A review but I give This Branch A negative Star. First Off, DAN! RACIST!! The Way He Treated Me Was Sooo Unprofessional & Disrespectful. Sad! He is a branch manager. Where Is The Customer Service?? I came into The Tracy Branch to get a reissue of my money order. Long Story Short. He didn't handle my situation. A Polite supervisor at the moment Handled everything. How is bank of the west West promoting his (Dan, Bank Mange) activities?

My review isn't with the branch but with the customer service at 800-488-2265. I don't know what has happened with them but the service has gone way down. I called during lunch to try to file a claim. On hold for 40 min & had to hang up. I called again after work and I have been on hold for 1 hour 43 minutes and counting.... still holding.... I also called Saturday in the morning & was on hold for 30 minutes, again had to hang up. The message is redundant, "for faster service, call back at a later time" How is that faster service when I have to wait to do my banking? I have called multiple times at different times through out the day and I am still holding? What happened to Bank of the West? This didn't used to be the case.... I used to be proud to bank there. Btw.... still holding......going on 2 hours to try to file a claim & do my banking......

They deactivated my debit card without telling me because they said it got returned to sender in March. The problem is I'd been using the card since March no problem. It wasn't returned I had it the whole time. If they took two seconds to look they would've seen it was in use Then I had to wait 10 days to get another one mailed. No temp cards I guess.

Would give them no stars if I could. Honestly one of the worst branches I've ever come across. I've been there no less than five times to try and change my name on my account to my married name instead of my maiden name, and every single time they have refused to do it, giving me a new reason why: I don't have the right documents, my husband also has to be there with me, they can't do it at the kiosk, an actual accountant has to be in the office, etc. Not once have they given me all information up front. This entire experience has proven to me just how archaic Bank of the West truly is, and has me wanting to switch to a more customer friendly bank altogether.

I don't bank their, I only cash my checks but I like the staff. The tellers down to managment, they have went above and beyond to help me.

Very smug staff that appears to have very little oversight & they are not held accountable for their rude behavior. The Teller was borderline condescending, the tellers body language was a obvious I do not like my job. I advised that I needed a Cashiers Check then I proceeded to explained that my Bill Pay is not working. Hence the reason I needed a cashiers check. I had to reiterate the Bill Pay issue repeatedly. Naturally the teller did not offer to help with the Bill Pay. I was charged a $10 fee for the cashiers check, that is not what upset me. The person in front of me while I was waiting in line needed a print out of his previous bank statements. Naturally she waved his statement fee but apparently I am different. Bank of the west institution is not recommended.

horrible customer service at the Tracy branch, Elisa barter was very rude & unprofessional. I asked her a question & her response was very sarcastic. I know I'm just a little speck to her, but bank of the west has always treated me with respect, until Elisa barter happened.

I have been with this bank for about 10 years and I've always loved the people there the small town feel, that was until I spoke to the so called manager ? Elisa barter, I think that's her name. I called to resolve something and ask a question, the sarcasm was off the chart her professionalism her people skills and her phone skills leave a lot to be desired. I Asked how do I stop from my problem happening again and her response was you should put more money in your account is that silly or what. Very rude lady and condescending.
