They never got back to me after leaving a voicemail.. so I had to call back again. Once I got a hold of someone I believe her name was Emily she had a attitude when I asked if I could make an appointment. I asked her when the next available appointment would be and she wouldn’t look/ give me the next available appointment… but instead told me I need to pay a fee and collect my past 2 years of my taxes. I also tried to explain to her that on the website they have the 2 office numbers are mixed up and that they are switched around and again she gave me attitude. She said “No they are not I’m looking at it right now.” If you don’t know how to talk to people you shouldn’t be working a job where you NEED to have GOOD customer service.

We decided to go with a professional this year so we could get some of our tax questions answered. Bill Pollard’s office came highly recommended by some neighbors but we didn’t have a good experience and will not return. We felt the communication leading up to our appointment was not good and they seemed disorganized. During our actual tax appointment we felt very rushed and felt that they just wanted us in and out. After our appointment, communication was disorganized again. After a few months of not received our state refund, we contacted the state and they said there were issues with our return. When we contacted Bill Pollard’s office for support, we were told they couldn’t help. When we asked if they could please fax the state some documents for us or if we could bring the documents in to be faxed, they said no. We didn’t have a good experience and will not be returning.

He was very condescending and short with us. He became very defensive when we asked questions. As small business owners, customer service is paramount to us so based on that alone, we immediately decided not to move forward.

My wife and I will be taking our business elsewhere immediately after a terrifying and disappointing experience completing our recent tax return. To be perfectly clear, the service we've received here for many years has always been top notch and appreciated - our issue is the blatant disregard for public health and safety displayed by everyone working in the office in regards to COVID-19. Given the small and enclosed nature of the office the very least we were expecting was for every member of the team to be masked appropriately, but every one we came across was not. One receptionist was unmasked, the other was wearing a partial face shield thing that I'm sure works as a sneeze or spit guard but must be entirely useless for preventing exhalations from spreading everywhere. The other two people we saw actually had on cloth masks, but wore them incorrectly leaving their noses exposed essentially rendering their utility useless. At least 535,000 Americans are now dead due to this disease, countless lives interfered, impacted, wrecked. Returning to some semblance of a normal life is going to take all of us looking out for each other.

Had always done my taxes there for over 10yrs + and this year was told they wouldn't help me with my taxes and didn't even get an explanation as to why. I even had 2 new customers for them. So very disappointed that they would choose to stop service for me.you would think businesses want customers not turn them away.
