Signed for 6 months as I moved to Tracy temporarily due to work. I was told I could cancel with a 30 day notice. Went in on October 10th. Spoke to Susy, one of the owners, filled out my notice was told I was done and all set. Come December I get charged , called a million times until Dave, the other owner answered. I explained the situation and was told “honestly talking to me is a waste of time , I’ll have my billing company reach out” been 3 weeks. Nothing. Tired of companies making people jump through hoops to cancel services. I signed up there with you I should be able to cancel with you. Seriously Disappointed. -Esteban Moroz.

In Stockton for work, looked up bodybuilding gyms so I could train while in town for a couple of days.Incredible staff, awesome facility that is meticulously maintained with welcoming members. If you are lucky enough to live within an hour of Ironworks Tracy, do yourself a favor and give em a go.If it’s the kind of place you typically train, you’ll love it!

Signed up for a 1 year membership, been trying to cancel this after my 1 year. No one answers the phone, responds to email and the 1 time someone did answer the phone they hung up immediately after I asked if this was Iron Works since they just answered with "Hello." Nice place just impossible to walk away.Again, facility is small but decent, music is good, but the service needs work and the billing is a mess outside of auto payments. For 50 bucks a month, 1 year contract and 200-dollar cancellation charge definitely shop around.12/3/23 UPDATE - Notified the owners via text, no response but of course I didn't expect one as this would break their pattern. I did notify the collections team and of course they don't respond either to these additional charges with a simple "these have been removed."12/2/23 UPDATE - I received another email charging me the monthly fee of $49. Then later that day I received another email confirming my payment of $84 for open gym use, however actual this charge and all along has been a charge sent to collections. It's very misleading since it states the payment was confirmed. 12/1/23 UPDATE- Finally received a response from a person that actually works for the gym on 11/30. The response was only a receipt for the $252 3 -month charge, SAD. If it isn't about the money, you could have fooled me. The collection agency did finally respond after 7 emails and stated my cancellation was effective immediately today. However, they did try to charge me another month's fee of $49 this morning instead of the recent 3-month $84 monthly charge, FINALLY ITS OVER.11/30/23 UPDATE- Still pending any response via email, text or phone call that this account if actually cancelled. According to collections the 30-day cancellation period starts upon the account being paid if full. which is done but again still nothing is writing confirming this. However this morning I did receive a email with yet another attempt to collect the monthly fee after already paying twice for Nov yesterday.11/29/23-UPDATE-Ok well lets revise this review after this inaccurate response and now drop the stars as this person does no wrong. I left a messages requesting to have a cancellation on Nov 16th, never received a call back, called again Nov 28th left another message that's of course after calling daily M-F from Nov 16th o today trying to talk to someone to cancel this membership. Yes you are correct today finally someone answered at 7am said "hello" I asked if this was Iron works Gym and they hung up on me. I then called back every 30 mins until finally Dave answered the phone. We had a polite and peaceful phone call on how to cancel this membership via a 3rd party which was unknown since this isn't information on your website. If this was posted on your website stating the simple come to the gym to start a 30 day cancellation ALL this could of been avoided. As far as the emails you send with payment issues on a account I don't monitor because I don't have to or need to hover over a email account especially when something is on auto pay. However with any other professional business if there was a past due payment especially 3 months you would receive some other form of communication than just a email as obviously that isn't working. If you would of called me I would of answered my phone.I see why you wait because it double the monthly membership cost so why would you want to try to resolve this?AS FAR AS BEING SELECTED FOR THE GYM YOU BOTH TALKED WITH ME BEFORE SIGNING ME UP SO THAT'S ON YOU NOT ME AS HOW I SLIPPED BY.****In closing the $252 past due amount for 3 months, which is 6 months' worth of gym membership normally is paid in full and this nightmare is finally closed the little amount of money isn't worth the fight or my time as this is costing me even more wasting valuable life in these pointless pennies to which you seem to pursue the nickel and dime of people.

I was lucky to come across this gym, already looking forward to my next training session here. Iron Works is incredibly clean, organized, stocked, friendly and a supportive place where members can have very different fitness goals but the same standards of respecting eachother and the gym. Susie was beyond helpful and fun to chat with. You can easily notice the attention to detail they put, they also have vast variety of great and unique equipment. I felt very comfortable and hit the best workout session I have in a while. Thanks again for the great experience!

As soon as I met Dave & Suzie (owners) welcomed me and made me feel comfortable being here. Here at Ironworks Gym, you’re much more than just a member. They make it feel like a family. Great gym and recommend it to anyone who loves weightlifting ??

I’ve been a member of this gym for many years and many more to come. I like to be party of this gym community. Susie and staff are always available to coach and train daily and in real time. But it goes further than that, they staff makes themselves available even after you leave the gym. They are knowledgeable in nutrition, weight training and you can’t beat the environment. It has the perfect blend of options- Bootcamp (Build and Burn- led by Susie), strength training with state-of-the-art equipment, and sports massage onsite. I highly recommend IronWorks.

Best gym in town, hands down. Ironworks has everything you could ask for in a gym: Top notch equipment, a clean environment, passionate owners, and most importantly, the vibe!.Until you've trained a gym with the right atmosphere you don't know what you're missing. Nothing beats being surrounded by people who take their training seriously, but also respect each other, respect the equipment, without the egos and other b.s. you deal with at most gyms. The owners, Dave and Suzie are the best. They're always around, and are legitimately passionate and want to see everyone succeed. And in the 2 years I've been training here, I've seen more legitimate transformations/progress among the clientele than in the last 20 years of going to gyms. That's not a coincidence. This is the place for serious training, but don't be intimidated. The staff and clientele are the most helpful/supportive I've ever seen and this place has a true family atmosphere that can't be matched.Whether you're an experienced trainee, or someone getting started who really wants to do it right, this is the place to be, trust me!

Okay I'll be honest I didn't write this earlier well because it's a hidden gem I've been a member for almost 2 years and officially feel like family. This gym may seem intimidating to some but I promise have never felt the since of community and support that I feel at IWG. First off the owners are both amazing people with the perfect balance of sugar and spice! Dave is a beast and his intensity fuels me. Suzy is a force to be reckon with. First off she is goals but beyond supportive to every member there. They both are a wealth of knowledge that you just don't find at other gyms. Suzy leads a boot camp that I personally haven't done but damn it's pretty amazing. The gym is immaculate! Everything is organized and clean always. All the equipment is in perfect condition with pieces you just don't have in other gyms. They are firm with their rule and policies for good reason. "No phones on the floor allowed" why so aren't wasting your time or others. They do have a comfy lounge that is perfect in case you need rest up after or finish that important email. The other members are motivated, sweet as can be there for one reason... to be better than yesterday. Thank you IWG for being my home away from home.
