They are very good at explaining exactly what needs to continue once you take your dog home from training classes. They did an incredible job and we highly recommend!

Been taking my dogs here for years; for training, nose work, and boarding. Both my dogs literally run to get into the facility and genuinely love it here.

We completed the 4 Week Elementary, HS , and college training courses with our pup George. This is an excellent facility, the staff (Jack, Amy, Alex, Izzy, and others I may be forgetting) are extremely knowledgeable in dog behavior. The K9 team provide the necessary skills and tools to assist you in building a solid trusting relationship with your dog. I have recommended K9 to many people. I appreciate their patience and how well maintained the facility inside and out are kept. We also board at K9 , our big guy George is always happy to return and we feel at ease knowing he is in a safe, clean environment with well behaved dogs to enjoy his time away from home.

Fantastic company!! We've done boarding, training, and weekly daycare. Our dog loves it there. Everyone is friendly. The best part is the owners (Amy & Jack) live on site. I find comfort in knowing that my pup is never really alone when boarded.

First session and I already know we picked the right place to help us train our furbaby. Friendly, knowledgeable instructors who you can sense really love animals. Easy to follow along instructions with many seeds of wisdom sprinkled thru-out. The location was easy to find, but I wouldn't wanna drive to or from it in the dark-lol. The outdoor training area is perfect. Spacious, so you have plenty of distance between classmates and room to spare when practicing your commands. It was also encouraging to see the well behaved dogs of the instructors, They were so chill-lol. Well, one day that'll be said about my furbaby. Anyways, plenty of parking, water buckets, and the necessities for cleaning up after your pet. What we learned today we will practice all week. I'm so proud of how well my doggie is taking all of this. He's sooo smart-lol. I can hardly wait for next weeks session!

We just completed K9 elementary and had a great experience with the staff at K9 Development. Everyone is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming from the moment you walk in/assessment with Amy, throughout all the lessons we attended on Wednesday's with the trainers. We're truly appreciative of all the skills we learned in this group setting and look forward to continuing our puppy's training and boarding in the future with this amazing staff.

Jack and Amy are amazing! Their knowledge about dogs is extraordinary. If you want the very best training and the very best care, please go to K9 Development. You and your pup will benefit more than you can imagine! My pup and I have been clients for 4 years. He's now a certified therapy dog! And when I travel, there's a no finer kennel for him! Thank you Jack and Amy. You both change lives in such wonderful ways! I'm so grateful for you both!

They did an amazing job training my large, high energy dog. The 2 week board and train was worth every penny and you can tell they really care for the dogs that come in!

I can’t say enough good things about K9 Development! Amy and the other trainers are amazing! They are so helpful and listen to you and it’s very easy to talk to them about questions/concerns. They are friendly and make it a point to say hi to me and my dog and acknowledge him when we are there and I love that! They are very positive and make being there fun! The training I have gotten and the knowledge I have gained is so much!! I am so happy where my dog and I are at! Their facility is so clean and organized! It’s so impressive!! My dog cowboy has done for day stays and I trust they will take the best care of him while he’s there!! I had 4 private lessons with Amy and now am in the college classes and I look forward to learning more and continuing out training with them!

I recommend this place 100%We took our dog Duke to K9 Development when we had to travel out of the country for 3 weeks. We had a lot of anxieties leaving our dog but after going in for a talk with Amy on what to expect and what was offered, we felt comfortable with leaving Duke. When we got back, Duke was so well behaved, he learned to share and be nice to other dogs. He followed the commands to the T and we still use the commands up to this day! Our dog was well looked after. The trainers are greet, it's a friendly atmosphere and they make sure you get your money's worth!!!Thumbs up to K9 Development

AWARENESS:I learned about K9 Development a few years ago when my daughter brought her dog here to have Jack help with service animal training. Fast forward to today. I'm here to see Jack, who will be helping me to train my new puppy to help combat my on going PTSD issues.NARRATIVE:I can only write this review about my interactions with Jack, since he has been the only person I've had direct contact with.Jack is a true professional (aka: Dog Whisperer). My first visit with him with my pup was an indoctrination meeting. Basically, I sat and Jack watched how my dog dealt new surroundings and some unexpected, never had my seen before items.During the hour interaction with both my dog and I, Jack asked questions and gave me tips on how I can start getting my pup to reach the goals I expect and wish her to perform. Jack is patient. Attentive and like myself, gruff. I like that! SCENE:K9 Development is located in rural Tracy, off of Hansen Road, behind the Safeway distribution warehouse. The road getting to Jack and Amy's is a compacted gravel road with speed bumps along the way. The maximum speed limit is 10 miles per hour. No rooster tails unless you wish to find out what I mean when I say Jack can be gruff. RECOMMENDATION(S):Like I stated, I can only speak for my interactions with Jack which thus far have been fantastic. I have talked to other dog owners who have taken their dogs to see Amy for training. Those conversations were all of phrase too.If you're in need of dog training, boarding or supplies, go see the folks at K9 Development. I'd recommend it.

My service dog has been with me for over 9yrs and deserves a good retirement. Finding a new trainer has been very difficult. Many people claim to be dog trainers. Only a few have actually taken and continue to take classes on new techniques and practices. Would you hire someone to teach your child who has no formal education but has been around enough people to have a good idea of what they are doing. Not only did K9 Development answer my questions but they helped me to understand I wasn't asking the right questions because I didn't fully understand what I should be asking. To put it sinply, they are good people who really care about dogs and want to make sure that your dog gets the proper training as well as the owners. You can teach a dog a tremendous amount of tasks but if the owner doesn't reinforce what was taught then the dog will not behave the way you wanted.A dog's owner needs just as much if not more than the dog itself.Awesome training plus a cool staff very deserving of 5 stars.
