Place like this use to be great , unfortunately everyone thinks there’re travel agents and location gurus. It use to be about the outdoors. Now, it’s how can you upsell to group party or compay event. This place should be about family outdoor interaction. Not come party and post it on IG for some pretend credibility of what an outdoor space is suppose to be.

There is NO place like Lake Front Resort in San Joaquin county or the Bay Area! This is the best place to come to leave your busy life behind and just relax. If relaxing doesn’t suit your family, recreational activities include swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing at the seperate bass lake located on the property and hiking or biking on any of the 5k worth of trails. There is a full bar and bistro available for food and drinks. The staff is friendly and seems to genuinely appreciate feedback. The property is maintained 7 days a week and is currently being upgraded in all areas by the new ownership, who is extremely friendly and community oriented. And thats not all! You can host your private party, wedding, or company event at this beautiful outdoor resort. I’m excited for the future of Lake Front Resort! Owners say that there will be an outdoor fitness program available soon. There is also talk of a youth activity summer camp coming there next year. This place has endless possibilities. Do yourself and your family a favor and go check it out. They are offering a one time $15/person invitation to the public to come experience the facility. If you can’t already tell, I LOVE this place!

The dysfunction at Eagal Lakes is out of control. I just wanted to sit and enjoy the beach with my kids, but the management is insane. After being sold on an inclusive resort, prices have increased for membership AND they added in camping fees. We'd been told when they were considering adding camping costs that it would be to cover trash expenses, however when they announced camping fees, all guests were also being required to pack out all trash. I voiced my concern about packing out trash in my car and since then I have been feeling very unwelcome. It started at the end of April when I arrived at the beach to find it absolutely covered in p**** Dog p**** geese p**** whatever it was, it was gross and everywhere. I understand it being a lake and picked it up, however I reached out to management because its never been as bad as that before. I was told it was geese p*** and totally safe if my ONE YEAR OLD ingested it. The groundskeeper picked it up with his hands and showed me how it's just grass and debated with me about the health implications of ingestion. Apparently that upset the owner because later that day she accosted me on the beach, in front of other members to let me know that if I had complaints I needed to bring them to her because I wasn't allowed to speak about it with other people. Considering the response to any of my questions and issues has been met with nothing but hostility its hard to want to approach management. I told her this on the beach and said that I was uncomfortable doing it while I was trying to supervise my kids in the water. She insisted on continuing on the beach and got annoyed when I became visibly upset. I was left crying on the beach with other customers trying to console me. When I returned a couple weeks later, a staff member was talking to a friend. As I approached, the staff told me how they'd been telling everyone about the owner accosting me on the beach and that she'd done it to several more customers. It made me really uncomfortable that she was using my name and telling other people about what had happened. I was concerned that it would reflect on me. She also informed me that the owners didn't like me and were looking for a reason to kick me out. My kids are well-behaved. We clean up after ourselves. We rarely use the community stuff and if we do, we put it back. We just want a place to peacefully enjoy the water and Eagal Lakes isn't the place to do it. Today, we arrived close to 11 with food and as soon as we got on the beach, the owner turned the water on us. When I asked for him to turn it off so we could enjoy the beach, he told me that I was ridiculous and I wanted the grass to die. Considering they open at 7:30 and 11am is prime lunch picnic time, I'm surprised he was surprised customers would want to be in the shaded area on the grass. I tried to talk to him about it but after months of open hostility we pulled our membership and won't be going back. I posted this to facebook and didn't disclose that the management apparently also had a conversation with their employees about my 4 month old breastfeeding on the beach. Apparently they didn't like it and told staff. Staff in turn told me how they felt but assured me they told management they couldn't stop me from breastfeeding. I'm not sure why i needed to be told at all about the conversation but it was just another thing on top of all this that made me really uncomfortable.
