This shop has been great for our auto repair needs. The staff communicates well to let you know the needed repairs as well as recommended services. The repairs and services were all done in a timely manner. Joe, the manager, was great to work with. I would recommend this shop.

My car broke down on the freeway and AAA towed my car to Morgan Auto since it was the closest option for me in a town I don't live in. These guys were amazing. I was pretty freaked out because I've never dealt with an overheated, smoking, car before but they were super patient and took the time to make sure I was set up with a rental and assured me that they would try their best to get to the bottom of the problem. Turns out the issue wasn't worth fixing but they let me keep the car at their shop until I could figure out what to do with it. 5 stars. Great guys, compassionate, and easy to work with. Bonus star for the kind, reassuring words when I started crying.

Terrible and overpriced. My car broke down recently and I had it towed to this location. Even with my AAA membership discount they wanted to charge me $4800++ for a used (not reman or new trany). The car is 30+ years old and has readily available parts for it. I decided to change the transmission oil and they had left the pan bolts beneath super loose I could turn each bolt with a flick of the finger. They had also broken the kickdown cable bushing. Not a trustworthy business! You are better off taking your car somewhere else.Service: Transmission replacement

I was in town for work when I noticed my low tire pressure. I wanted to get it filled up before I got back on the freeway but the gas station machine actually let more air out of my tires and I ended up with a PSI of 11. I was a little panicked and drove straight to this shop as it was the closest one. They took a look at my tire, said there were no visible nails or holes in it, and filled it back up for me and told me if the pressure drops again to have someone look at it. All completely free of charge. They were so kind and helpful in my time of need.

Request a wheel alignment. Got an early am appointment. Met Joe. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Got my alignment done and picked up my vehicle. The results were very noticeable. Awesome job. Will do business with them in the future.

I am amazed at the level of service that I just received from the Morgan Tracy team! Joe, is by far the best service writer I have ever dealt with. I had a problem with my Dodge Ram and he got me in the same day I called, which was a Friday. Called me with an estimate mid afternoon and said he could have it done Saturday afternoon if I needed it. When I picked it up Monday morning, he actually SHOWED me what the issue was, since it was a rare case. I will always call Morgan first, going forward! THANK YOU, Joe and team!

Came into the shop knowing I needed a new alternator. I just needed that part and the work done. They proceeded to give my vehicle a $150 diagnostic check which I did not ask for. There cost for the part was $390. (O'Riley sells the part for $220) plus the labor came out to $680. I decided to take my business else where and they still charged me $150 for basically doing nothing. Terrible service!

I would give Joe and Morgan Automotive Repair in Tracy six stars if I could! Amazing service! I don't understand the negative reviews. We were on a road trip from Lemoore, CA to Long Beach, WA. A few miles north of Westley on I-5, I got a 'Check Engine' light, then a Battery light, then the car started overheating. I pulled over and let the car cool down. I was hoping to get to the next Exit, but after I restarted the car, the same sequence occurred, and I pulled off and called AAA. I checked the oil (it had been changed 2 weeks ago). Full. So while I waited for AAA, I looked up nearby automotive repair centers. Morgan Automotive in Tracy was the closest. That was lucky, because these guys are solid! I called Morgan Automotive and got Joe. Told him the car's symptoms, and he said it sounded like a belt. He asked me for the make, model and license plate, and said he'd make sure he had the belt before I got there! AAA took nearly an hour to get to us, and then another half hour to load the vehicle, do the paperwork, etc. By the time we got to Morgan's, it was well after 3 PM. I thought for certain Joe was gonna say, 'Come back tomorrow.' But no, he had our SUV moved right into a bay, and confirmed his suspicion - not just a bad belt, NO belt - and they started working on it immediately! While replacing the belt, they realized that the fraying belt must have damaged a wire for the battery sensor. So, they replaced that as well! Their lobby is nice, with coffee, creamer and cold bottles of water. Joe told us to 'take a couple for the road' - he knew we had a long day and a half of driving in front of us. I can't remember the last time I said, "Wow'' after an automotive repair incident. But Joe and Morgan Automotive really set the bar high!

Let me first say that normally Morgan is a great auto shop. So that being said, this review is based off my recent visit with them. I first went to Firestone, for a battery light that came on. They checked it and said it was the alternator. I had gotten already a new alternator with Morgan 6 months prior to this, so I took it back to them. That same day, they said they couldn't find the problem and needed to keep my car over night. The next day, they told me it wasn't the alternator and that it was the battery and I said "go ahead and replace it". Well picked up my car that same day and I didn't even get home when the battery light went on again. So had to wait for next morning since they were close to closing. They said they were just going to replace the whole alternator. Which they did, but they broke my radiator in the process. They said they would take care of it since it was their fault. Not a problem, things happen. This is what really pissed me off, they offered to get me a rental car for the day because of this whole problem at their expense, not mines. So I agreed, went to go pick it up and they still charged me $50 for a refundable incidentals that I didn't know. But I said, I'll get it back. But the insurance was $25 non-refundable. It is not my car and do not what to be responsible for it. So I had to say yes. So my car is in good shape now, but after I spend over $200 for a battery that I didn't need and $25 for a rental that I also did not need if they didn't break my radiator. I'm so disappointed and was so angry, I have a lot of anger issues so I just stood quiet and didn't look at them. Since I know I cannot control my anger. I will never go back there again. Just think about it spending almost $300 for the alternator that you already paid for and was still under warranty. They said they'll take care of it, but they make sure they get something out of you for it. I'm sure once they read this, they'll know who I am, which I don't care. And before they say that I still needed a battery, they kept my car all night to make sure what it was and only found the battery wrong but yet I got an alternator replaced to actually fix the issue? I understand that mistakes happen but I wasn't the one making those mistakes and yet I paid for it. So do as you please with this information and good luck. Add on: They broke my Engine Oil Dipstick, just check the price for it and it's $20. Let's add that on to their mistakes and they didn't even tell me about it. Wow! Unbelievable smh
