My girl needed surgery on her tooth and they took care of her from start to finish. The procedure was reasonable and I was updated before and after surgery. I understand the reason for some negative reviews based on the front office staff and attitudes but the vets here were awesome to my baby.

Excellent personal service with the passing of our Golden. Doctor was caring, compassionate and put us at ease. I would highly recommend them.

ANOTHER red flag for any business offering expensive medical care for any creature. My interaction was a single minute long and this review is the result. Could have gone way differently if this secretary had any patience or any REAL customer service skills. When a customer calls, that is ur one chance to create a 5-minute personal relationship with someone to get as much money out of them as possible. It's not even that I feel personally disrespected as a former client, I can no longer trust that they will provide the care I'm willing to pay for. This person didn't even give me the time of day to try and help me outside of one question and didn't even have the courtesy to let me finish my sentence. Who's to say they are going to take the time to check on ur pet staying overnight in a strange place, feeling a strange way? Who's to say they are doing everything in their power to prevent something from going wrong while ur bst friend is in their care? Who is to say they don't treat our pets like they treat a dope head in an ER? bing given less than the bare minimum and put back out just bc u don't have the THRICE the INFLATED PRICE of the treatment? I called to ask a few questions about their services and payment options and I got hung up on mid-sentence. One star bc I HAVE TO POST, but I don't think it is very good business to b hanging up on customers. Still had almost a full hour bfore they closed when I called, and I only had a few questions about payment and potential treatment options for a small dog, even bad news outside of their lack of payment plans would have ben btter than the service I received from this person. If this is how they answer questions now, I don't even want to know what kind of half-bakeded medical treatment they could potentially b giving our animals. I feel sorry for anyone who allows the care of themselves or their pets to b so shallow and thoughtless. Don't come here if u want respectful, diligent, and thorough services and treatment; Not only of urself as a potentially paying customer but as a pet parent who only wants the best for their animals. This secretary in particular needs to step up their game when it comes to accurate information. At least give information that helps US, FIND the information we need. Didn't mention any pamphlets or offer to schedule something later on, NOT EVEN OFFERING A CHECK-UP or to come in for information b4 they closed. My call was made at exactly 7:16 pm, this establishment in particular closed at 8:00 pm. Terrible service today and that's coming from a former client. Whoever this person is, needs to unclench their buttcheeks and let go of whatever prob they stuck up there. We are all trying to make it out here just the same, no need to make it harder for everyone else just bc u are having a moment. It's obvious to me now that they can't even handle a few questions about the care THEY provide and it took only one minute for years of trust to b obliterated. I will only b going to THE PET ADVOCATE as they at least have the courtesy to let me know WHERE I CAN FIND THE INFO I need to make the bst-informed decision about my pet's care. I do not care if it is just a job to u, ur business is saving lives NOT HEEDLESS ROBbRY. The lady who answered only answered ONE question bfore hanging up, spoke over me, and hung up mid-sentence. I have seen more effort put into tearing a piece of tissue paper by a quadriplegic with no fingers than whoever this lackluster, mediocre, and fake animal lover is; and whoever this person was (didn't get a name), I hope u are happy with urself. I had very long, antipathetic, and vitriolic words for this person bc u can't give a full five minutes to COME UP WITH AN ANSWER THAT IS MORE THAN FOUR FLUFFING WORDS AND ANSWER MORE THAN ONE, FLUFFING QUESTION. I want this review to stay up and play a part in the consequences faced by any employees who put their personal goals bfore their patients WHILE ON THE CLOCK! I hope management chooses to take some ad

I’ve been taking my dog to paws and claws and it’s been awesome with most of the visits. Nurses were sweet with handling my dog, doctor Abigail was great and gave great advice’s with some of the questions & concern we had. She prescribed shampoo for my fur baby for skin issue and it was awesome, I noticed great result after first use. Clinic is clean and neat, they have nice sitting area. You can either park in front or back of the clinic. Overall great and affordable veterinary clinic in central Bay Area.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Had to bring my dog in and found out she had cancer and had to be put down. The staff here made her so comfortable and made me feel way better than any other vet has in these types of situations. 10/10 recommend them.

I would give 0 star if that was a choice! Very disappointed. Took my dog in to get a second opinion on the bump on his head. The staff was ok, but Dr.Miller was one of the worst vets we have seen so far. She didn't even touch my dog, let alone examine him!! She just sat on the chair with a piece of paper and a pen pretending to write something and kept asking me questions. She wanted me to show her the bump by holding the dog, but wouldn't even come close to look at it. She asked me to touch and check if it was hard or soft etc... all this while she was on the chair holding her pen. She was only interested in giving me an estimate for the removal. When I directly asked her if you she is even going to examine him up close... She said she will first give me an estimate end come back to examine... Then sent her staff to come get my dog to bring him in so that they can "examine" him. Which was just a showoff for me as I saw Dr. Miller out in the front talking to a person while my dog was inside. They had not done anything for him inside. Why pretend.. if they were going to check him, why couldn't they do it on the examination table in the room??? They just took him in and kept him there for 5 mins and brought him out. I know this for a fact because I know my dog and how restless and agitated he would get had he been really "examined" inside. In fact the assistant came out to tell me that he is doing absolute fine and eating the treats they gave him and is happy!!!. That is impossible!! He NEVER EVER takes treats at vets office even if it is his favorite kind. They charged for the visit in advance while I made the appointment itself and I had to worst experience ever. Worst Vet, Dr.Miller who acts like she is allergic to dogs while "trying" to evaluate without even touching the dog!! I should have checked the reviews here which was my mistake. :-(

Worse place ever My 13 year old Weiner dog Woody was brought in for a abscess tooth , they refunded us the money for the surgery that is not the point my dog was brought home NOT ABLE TO WALK limping on his back feet he is a heavy boy so we have a feeling that the staff man handled him the way he is acting. He came home scared not wanting to eat his food, won't get out of bed. TELL ME HOW DOES MY DOG COME BACK HOME IN WORSE CONDITION THAT WE BROUGHT HIM IN i can promise you we will find out whatever these young and Dumb vet techs. DONT WORK WITH ANIMALS if you are going to treat them bad when no one is around.

They cancelled my appointment, the reason we didn't pay in advance. The previous visits never paid in advance, or they have a new policy.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! This place used to be great but over the years it's completely gone down hill!! My mom went in today 12/21/23 3:00pm and the attending took him back ! They completely traumatized our/my dog! He's never had an issue! When I come to visit I usually do his on my own but she didn't know I was coming today!! They took 4 people "to hold him down" which we've never needed then made him bleed like crazy! These are supposed to be to be the "professionals" they required payment before hand.... She never should've paid them! I called to talk to them the Doctor was so rude! Told us we shouldn't come back if we had an issue with it!! What happen to customer service??? Don't worry we won't be back!

Great place to take your dogs. The staff is kind and helpful and the doctors are great and informative. I had to get health certs for my digs to go to Thailand and they were knowledgeable about the steps and guided me the whole time. They also always answer any of my question and request same day. Overall professional and kind highly recommend.

Brought in 3 of my cats in and have gotten sound and careful advice. Dr Miller was always there to talk to in every visit. The team were always mindful of the cost of the visit and consult with a sound advice on how to best treat the patient. Although I prefer the holistic form of care, I feel pretty comfortable so far with this clinics' care.

I would not recommend this vet office to anyone who cares about their pet's well-being. My recent visit to this establishment was nothing short of disappointing and unacceptable. The vet who was supposed to examine my 10 year pit bull refused to do so he just stood by the entrance of the door the entire visit. The vet doctor didn't even have the decency to enter the room and give a proper examination but he was very great at charging us and sending us home with medication without properly examining our dog. What's more, this so-called "professional" vet made a completely insensitive and inappropriate comment about my dog's breed. He said, "hold him back, I don't want to lose a limb." This was not only rude and unprofessional but also completely out of line. As a vet, he should know how to handle different breeds of dogs and should not have made such a thoughtless and unwarranted comment. I felt like my dog was being discriminated against because of its breed. It's unacceptable for a vet to behave this way, especially when they are supposed to be professionals who work with animals every day. It's shameful and unprofessional that this vet was not able to examine my dog. I expected better service from a vet who is supposed to have the necessary expertise to handle all kinds of animals, regardless of breed or temperament. This vet clearly lacked any sort of empathy or professionalism, and I would never bring my animals back to this office again. Save your time and money and find a vet who actually values your pet's health and doesn't make offensive comments based on their breed.

They cannot even tell be if I would have to pay tens, hundreds or thousands of dollars for a tooth extraction before I pay for an exam. I was not even asking for an estimate, which is usually more precis then what I asked about.
