Big Safeway plenty of items in stock and on shelf's had no issue finding everything I needed and wanted yeah and stuff I didn't want or need but had to have it anyway Plenty of Easter goodies caught my eye along with the basics we need Check out lines are nice and clutter free easy to maneuver through with your cart bagging area was nice sized with room to put your own bags on the counter while bagging them up. Prices are getting Higher can't believe what we are paying to survive but it's everywhere not just Safeway. Parking lot is good nice plenty of room to park spaces are a little tight but there were spots opened when we arrived. Cashier was pretty quick with her scanning but was In a rush while we were trying to bag everything up she sighed when she saw we were still bagging when she finished ringing up our items. I let it sly by and kept my cool this is not my neighborhood Safeway we stopped here on our way back from Walnut Creek to our home in Manteca and didn't want to backtrack to go to our Safeway it was a pleasure experience and most likely will shop here again

Five stars for the guy that helped me. He was very patient and helpful. He made my day by looking for discounts on my emergency meds. I just needed 10 day supply, until I get my meds ship to me. He made sure I got 30 days with a discount on a full price medication. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Wow!!! Got Chinese food from the deli and it was $20 for 2 tiny containers (one chowmein & one mandarin chicken) plus 2 egg rolls that were $5 It was inedible! The chowmein was hard and the egg rolls were flat and burnt! I didn't see him pick out the egg rolls or I would have said something. Just bad!

Ordered the 8pc chicken bucket with thighs and drumsticks and it's like the girl went out of her way to give me the tiniest, driest pieces of chicken there was. Turned out 2 of the tiny pieces were tiny wings that were over battered making them look like tiny thighs. It was a joke. Even my teenage son looked at it and asked "What the heck is this?!?!" BIG A** FAIL!

And here we go again and again and again... ran out of eggs for my breakfast burrito.. fml.. today is 12/13/2021.. its 11:55am. Management get my eggs for my breakfast burrito!!!! Grrrrr Ps. And to top it off the lady just now burned my sorry breakfast burrito without egg I just ordered.

I don't know what meat to grilled. And this nice employee name Kalvin welcome me with, " hi! Can i help you?". Then I told him what meat i am looking for grilling and he was able to help me, he educated me with meat information. That is so very kind to educated and I asked him if he can also slice it in thin slice and it was done. His eyes smiled and handed me the item that i was buying. After i made my purchase, I came home and started my BBQ and i was satisfied with his service and thank you to Kalvin. I can recognize he loves his job and thank you for educating what meat i need to buy. Drop by at Safeway and say "Hi to Kalvin" the meat and seafood service. He is Awesome!

Dear Store Manager, Every time I come to your store, the disinfecting wipes are empty! Not only is it empty, but it is filthy dirty!! Please come out of your office daily and take a look at your store. We are still in an unprecedented pandemic. You are a store! Fill the disinfecting wipes daily!!

Being born and raised in Tracy, my family has always come to this Safeway since it's opening. I went in tonight to purchase a few things for my pup- she just got spayed. The cashier Sormeh (I'm prob spelling that incorrectly) was very nice. She even gave me some tips to help me out ( my first pup and first spaying). I asked her how I could thank her and she said it wasn't necessary but I insisted. She said I could let management know, and I said 'sure!'. I waited at customer service and knocked, no one came. Her lane was empty so of course, I looked to her to tell me where to go next since no one was there. Finally a lady came up, but when I mentioned how thankful I was, she made it seem as if I was a fraud and the cashier was just fishing for compliments. Very odd exchange when I was only trying to be thankful to the kind cashier. 5 stars for Sormeh and 1 off for Safeway team's iffy behavior. ++I did call in directly to my local Safeway. Thank you to Jennifer in customer service as well.

I ordered a salami sandwich. Not a pepperoni sandwich!! The bread has some kind of drippings on the top and something disgusting baked into bottom half of bread!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, not even going to eat it! Had it delivered by DoorDash, can't even return it

I really love this Tracy location. I see all my favorite cashiers and all of them are great! I have never had a problem with their kindness and help and they always give special attention to every customer. I like getting my food here and they make you feel like they give their 100% to make everyone no matter who you are feel good. Excellent customer service!

I've lived in Tracy for a few years but seldom come here because its a white people grocery store and i thought they're prejudiced but still gave them the benefit of the doubt. I work from home and today August 24th, wednesday, i decided to grab chix wings from the deli (the self service counter), i went to the cashier to have my chix weighed/marked/stickered. There was one person ahead of me, so the cashier told me she'll be right with me,okay, okay so i waited patiently.Then this lady came stood in front of the the counter, she just stood there, suddenly, the cashier is was not so busy after all and gave her chix box a sticker, so I asked why she helped her when I was ahead of her, the cashier didn't even look at me and told me to wait while she very slowly counted the change for the person ahead of me.i put my container of chix down and left (should've dumped them all back in the chix warmer).Don't have time for that ****

Just went to Safeway, nothing like removing all the other brands of coffee creamer so in hopes you are so desperate you will buy Lucerne instead. Note to Safeway, if you want to lose customers you are on the right track, nothing like being railroaded into buying a Safeway brand because there is nothing else to choose from. Whoever decided that move clearly doesn't care about the actual customer. Let customers choose for themselves, we can easily go to Wal-Mart or one of the other 4.

Covid policies are not in effect the worst so is by talking to the workers management refuses to close the store knowing safeway and its distribution center here have always had covid in their system. These cashiers are not sanitizing cleaning or changing gloves. The manager in the front is always running around touching screens and i never see her sanitizing. Its not the first time which is why my rating is low. Also during covid, I brought my ID which expired on my birthday but I was buying drinks for my birthday, she deemed my ID Invalid on my birthday. Management definitely needs some experience
