I bought deli sandwiches. Christian has great customer service and makes a good sandwich. Also Patricia G. is a very kind and sweet with customer service, she's very knowledgeable about the entire store. I've know her at the 11th St. store in tracy for 20 Years. I think she should be the manager. All around great person.

It's cool that this place is 24 hrs... but let's look at what 24 hrs means... teens running thru the aisles yelling weirdos creepy crawlin around drunks tryna get a couple more cases before 2 am... only one register open no self check out and let's not for get the public restrooms... the restrooms are usually tore back let me include a picture of the men's handicap stall... if that don't say it all idk what does.... SO that all said Tracy's 24 hr Safeway left me with a bad smell in mind....

Came to look some flowers for Mother’s Day , let me tell ya how disappointed I am with the quality of the flowers, extremely disappointed! Dead flowers , it looking fresh and over priced . SaveMart here I come . Safeway used to have great flowers . Losing the touch. ☹️

Selection is good, service at 2am is a bit slow, but they are restocking shelves so to be expected.

I had to make an emergency run to grab some medicine around 2 AM. When I went to pay for it they said, "sorry, we're doing a software update and our registers are down." I offered to pay cash but they declined. Safeway needs to have a backup plan for payment in cases like this. Thankfully I was able to grab my medicine from a Chevron near by.

Safeway steaks are a hit & miss and mostly a miss. I am not sure where they source their meats but many times buying NY strip steaks at this location have been really tough and full of hard connective tissues. Some batches I have purchased also have signs of moisture loading making flavor leaching and making it harder to sear even over the fire cooking. I buy a lot of steaks since we consume them every single day.

I came here w/my own balloons at night and the girl was helpful and asked me when the event was that I needed them for. I said, tomorrow. She said well they'll only last about 8-9 hours inflated, I'd suggest you don't fill them right now. She said I could pick them up tomorrow and she said any time. I was like really? She's like yeah, if you wanna come at 4am, someone will be here. I said let's do 6AM. I left the balloons there, paid, got my receipt and I returned the next morning at 6AM. There was a girl behind the counter, it looked like she was cleaning though and not a worker of the floral dept. I told her I was there to pick up some balloons and I got nervous b/c I didn't see any balloons there (and they were a lot) but then she went to the back door and brought them out! They were covered with a plastic sheet which was great. It kept them dry from the rain and held them together. Thank you Safeway for coming through w/the balloons!

Floral department Aryanna in the floral department is an absolute angel. I was a royal pain and asked for a bouquet to be broken down to 5 different little bouquets and individually wrapped. She didn't hesitate to say no problem and was so sweet about it. Not to mention she did an amazing job!!! This department never disappoints. I always get my floral bouquets from here. I pick my fav flowers and they rearrange them and wrap them beautifully for me. Highly recommend!!!!

I was just here now at 1:30 pm 01/27/24 I went to self check out line ask for help the lady didn't know anything. she didn't even try to help me out. This is why I do not like self check out you cannot even get help. The lady did not care about her job. You could tell she was too busy playing with papers I highly recommend getting better help Safeway. This is getting bad and embarrassing for you guys.

I didn't have time to take my time to write this in to post this last month due to my workplace had me working a lot more hours so now I finally have the chance to write this review and to share with all of you about what went wrong. I ordered a Christmas cake for Christmas dinner, my family and I were looking forward to eat the cake, but after slicing the second layer, that's when I notice something was sticking out. It's a PIECE OF HAIR! I took some pictures and videos to show proof that this long, strand, thick hair that I pulled out halfway, was coming out from THE OUTSIDE LAYER OF THE CAKE! Where the frosting is at! And that's not the worst part! After observing the whole cake to see if there were anything else, sure enough, 10 minutes later, I FOUND ANOTHER SECOND LAYER OF LONG HAIR I PULLED OUT HALFWAY! Disgusting! I took the cake back the very next day and told a manager there about what I have found and they gave me a refund, apologized, and said they will have the manager from the bakery have a look at it when they can. They have me select another Christmas cake for free after giving me a refund. C'mon Safeway! Step up your gear! You "use to be" a good place to shop! I'm beyond disappointed on this!

Useless management. Go to the mountain house location, where the store is cleaner and the employees are competent.
