Stopped in today 1/16/24 to pick up a bottle that was listed online. Product not available? Plus the picture of the bottle does not match the proof in the description. Who's running this place. This is my last visit to BevMo. What a waste of time!

No! I don't want my ID scanned. The only liquor store in town with this requirement. And I will no longer give them my business. I watched another older gentleman get refused right in front of me because they didn't like his ID. Then it was my turn. Well I couldn't skip the $10 off coupon they sent me, and unlike last time in, the clerk now insisted on scanning my ID. Why? The only explanation was "they get mad at me" if no ID is scanned. So they don't care of the customers "get mad". They don't care that they are the only liquor store with this requirement. How many liquor stores have you seen shutdown? None. Zero justification for this policy, and ZERO is the amount they will get from me. Zero is the number of stars I wish I could give.

shout out to nicole and jen for yesterday's morning rush. i have never seen such amazing service on a busy day thats short staff. i was lucky number 11 out of 11 keg pick ups.

Absolutely dreadful. Stopped by the other night to pick up some items. They have a policy now that they card everybody every time. Even customers who have been going in there for years. I am almost 70 and look it. I renewed my CDL last week so I haven't received my new one yet. They would not take money (which would have been a pretty big sale actaully). You blew it, people. Will. not. be. back. Let's see if they read this review...

It seems that Bevmo has implemented a new policy, that at check out you are required to physically give the cashier your official state ID card so they can run it through a scanner. I asked for an explanation of this today from the cashier, who couldn't give an answer for. So i asked to see the manager for an explanation, why and what info do they need from my ID other than my birth date. Manager just said it was Bevmo policy. I want to know what information they wish to access, it isn't any of Bevmo's business. I am very annoyed by this, I don't see any reasonable explanation why I need to physically remove my ID from its secure spot that has a clear view window to verify age race sex and address right on the license. Bevmo needs to stop this. I told the manager I won't be back to bevmo any time soon. I also use a club card and a charge card for purchase. Thats all the ID they need.

Very poor customer service and unknowledgeable and unhelpful said the price would ring up at the register properly and it didn't and then she had to come back over to fix it when I had already notified her that there would be a problem it seems like they tried to rip you off at these stores everything is way over priced get your alcohol from somewhere else.

I was glad to see that they didn't run out of extra anejo Cava de Oro during Christmas Eve. I ended up purchasing the last two in the glass cabinet that day. I only wished they would carry MY FAVORITE tequila, extra anejo Suavacito. I have to drive to Total Wines in Pleasanton to purchase this instead.

Garen was the manager on duty when I came in to exchange a bottle of wine I'd purchased that had turned. I did not have my receipt, but he made an exception and allowed me to make an exchange. Of course, I had to buy more too! I appreciate his accommodation, and I will make this my primary location to shop, even though it is not the closest to where I live. Thanks Garen!

Always well stock! The employees are friendly and always helpful. Example: if I needed to make any cocktails, they would direct me to the ingredients and tell why this is preferred over that for quality of taste. Recommendation is encouraged whenever I have questions about a beverage, no sense in having unwanted calories if it's not good.

Where have I been the last 7 months? GoPuff, a product delivery service, entered the Cali market when they bought out BevMo back in October of last year. This store has been remodeled, rearranged and has a new vision. Pre buy out, you'd walk through the front door to find a small snack "and more" section to the left then you'd see isles of liquor on the left and isles of wine on the right. Now, you see mixed bottles of alcohol on the left and isles of snack foods on the right. As you wander a few steps deeper you'll find a toiletries section, standard groceries like Milk and eggs and other items similar to what you'd find in a standard convenience grocery store. Is it cool you can grab a frozen pizza with your case of beer? Idk, maybe. I have mixed feelings on the vibe- I felt like their hard seltzer selection was pretty limited and normally I go to a store like this for the variety and specialities. I'll update y'all on the impact of adding all these other products after another visit when I have more time to explore.

I recently called this location Bevmo to see if they have a specific beer in stock in which they didn't. So, the employee helping me over the phone asks me to hold on for a sec and went as far to ask the sales manager if she could double check. When she informed me they didn't have it in stock she said she was going to try and order some that day for me and to check back on Friday. A couple days go by and I decide to go in and they had only 3 6pk cases left and I scopped them right up. Customer service is exceptional and the store is very clean.

This is the worst bevmo in norcal. Horrible customer service & very disrespectful. Almost like their looking for a argument. Both the clerk & on site supervisor. Don't go here for stuff!!! Go to Petes Liquor.....
