We've brought our RV here a couple of times and each time has been an unwelcome experience. First was to get the monitor panel for the water/waste/battery fixed and to look at why the water supply line to the bathroom is leaking. Neither were done but we were charged for something. It took MONTHS for them to do next to nothing. We had to pick up the RV before they finished the work but after so long a time it should have already been back to us.We then took it back a few months later to try to get the work finished and have the roof sealed. They did the work requested and had it back to us but again it took a very long time, well over a month, maybe two. The mechanic dinged up a couple of spots hitting the wall either going in or out of the stall and it also broke the awning. Accidents happen, they were up front about it and said they will order a replacement awning and fix the other damage done. It took quite a while for the part to arrive. Not sure if it was because, like everything else, they didn't take care of the task in a reasonable amount of time or if the vendor/shipper was the issue. It's raining today and there is water leaking into the RV indicating the job they did to seal the roof wasn't done well. After leaving our RV there again in September of 2022 for several weeks to have the awning repaired we needed the RV for a planned trip so we had to pick it up again. The awning has finally been "repaired", poorly. The latch to disengage it to pull it out was set wrong. The mechanic adjusted it, requiring rivets to be cut, latch adjusted and re-riveted. We thought it was moved far enough forward but attempting to use it today showed that it isn't. Completely disgusted. TL;DR; Never again. Non-existent response to multiple calls. Every call, "we'll call you back", never called back. Slow and unacceptable work. Took MONTHS to repair what they broke.

We have been recommended to this shop by the owner's son! We took our RV there to get the repairs started and Jeff took all necessary photos and had me sign a release document. I have been calling his office for 3 months asking about the progress on the repair. The assistant keeps telling me she has no idea about anything and to call Jeff later on. This has been going on for 3 MONTHS keeping us in a limbo! Why can't you just say you don't want to do this work???!!! You keep giving us excuses month after month. Very unprofessional and rude. We could have already had it fixed somewhere else by now but because we were told they will be contacting our insurance company and getting started we didn't look elsewhere. We sent bunch of emails but never got confirmation back! The assistant acknowledged she received them. We thought this was a professional shop but the way they ignore their potential clients is terrible. Why not just say we can't get to your RV till February or March? I would fire my assistant if she was treating my clients this way! We run 5 businesses and this is just so frustrating & annoying. Do not bother with them. You'll get bunch of excuses. Huge waste of our precious time!!!

Took my trailer here for an estimate and waited two plus weeks for an estimate that never came! Jeff tells me he can't do warranty work for Jayco. But he can't get any part numbers for them to write an estimate !?? After repeated calls I had to leave my name and number over and over even after filling out paperwork they seem to not know who I was every time I called to ask for my estimate. All this guy wants to do is "Sell" trailers! I would never take anything here after dealing with him. Very very unprofessional! Very unfortunate since they came recommended from a friend. I will never ever recommend somebody that does not call me back and acts like I am not important.

Took my new Cherokee travel trailer to Coachworks Auto Body to take care of some warranty issues. The big store in Turlock where I purchased the unit would not see it until after the warranty would expire (under staffed). The Coachworks Auto Body Team took care of all the items (ripped floor, slide alignment, window shade issue, toilet leak, etc). Since they took care of me in the middle of the pandemic supply shortage, we where at the mercy of the manufacture’s very long delays in providing parts. Once the Team received the parts they quickly contacted me to setup an appointment for the many different repairs needed. The Coachworks Auto Body staff, from the front office to their technicians are all friendly and very helpful. Coachworks Auto Body is my Go To RV repair and maintenance place from now on, I will be going there after the summer season for routine maintenance this year.

I really had high hopes and felt really good in taking my RV here to have the awning replaced in which they did a great job on. Other work I needed done was the slider kept on breaking bolts I put in and they fixed that. With those two jobs it was a total of 3.5hrs of labor. The biggest job they did was to scrap and reseal the roof vents and seams. Remember, scrap and reseal. What the worker did was just went over existing material without tempting to remove anything and I was charged 8hrs of labor for this task which might have taken an hour and a half tops. They couldn't even cover up what they were trying to cover up. I did call the company back up and told them what a horrible job it was and sent them pics of the craftsman ship of what they did. Was told, good thing you looked at it. I did bring trailer back to have it done right. Was told it was a new guy that did the work and it was his first day on the job. I told them being charged $160 per hr at 8hr job is not what I got and I was taken advantage of for them keeping my trailer for a week. The owner Jeff did apologize for everything but I know he can't look and every job going out. They took trailer and kept overnight again and I am still skeptical if they actually did the scrapping of all material and replaced with new product as it is really built up on the long seams and around the vents. I truly felt that they over did the labor charge on me and with both times working on the roof of the trailer alone still didn't add up to the 8 hours of labor they say at $160 per hour.

I went there for an estimate. I wasn’t impressed from the get go as far as the owner giving a straight forward answers. I was given four different dates over the course of 10 days while continuing to follow up as to “where’s the estimate”. He even went as far as to ask me if I wanted to get an estimate from someone else. Now all of this might not seem bad but he told my insurance company that he was my repair shop in which they stopped doing their estimate because they deal with him directly. I live out of my mobile van and thus no one did anything, pushing back my repairs and travels another two weeks.Disclaimer, on day 6 of 10 he did say he had a medical emergency in the family that was pushing back he ability to complete my estimate. However, he was in the office all 6 times I called.

The crew at Coachworks is awesome. Jeff and his team recently completed a complete repainting of my 40' Fuzion Toyhauler. Repaint was required due to horribly botched detail job. The work required Coachworks to remove all the existing decals (and there were a ton of them) and then sanding down the base coat to remove the damaged paint and clear coat. Jeff, his staff and I all agreed to forego installing the factory decals in favor of painting a design that was clean and unassuming. As you can see in the before and after photos, they absolutely crushed it. This trailer turns heads and receives nothing but complimentary comments when we've taken her out. It is a "one of a kind" paint job, that achieves a super clean look. I couldn't be happier with the finished product and despite what started out as a horrible experience with a detail job gone all bad, I'm a super happy with the outcome. Based on my experience with Jeff and his staff, along with the superb results, it is obvious to me that this is THE body shop for RV repairs. These guys take tremendous pride in their work and showed a ton of enthusiasm for what they created for me. Take a look at the before and after photos..... you'll see their pride in the work!

Went there to do a roof work. They replaced my entire roof. Next day after pickup I went camping and roof was leaking inside. Went to their place, then went on top of the trailer and did something. Went back to the storage. After a month a big rain happened, few days later I went to see my trailer, lot of water inside, damaged the cabinets and storage. They told me they will fix it all. After 2 weeks with them they told me there is no leak in the trailer, they did the smoke test and all. I went to pick it up and with them there I showed them where the leak was. They fixed the leak but not the damage their mistake caused. I had to pickup the trailer as we had a big camping trip. After I came back I was never able to talk with them so they can fix the cabinets. The owner was never there and never returned my call. That is sad because I liked them in the first place. Sad they didnt follow up with their promises as it was their fault...

We have owned our Class A motorhome for almost 7 years now. We have taken it to 3 other shops for miscellaneous repairs. Every other shop we took it to there were always issues when we picked up our RV. Either the work wasn't done correctly, or in 2 cases we were way over charged for the work that was done and not authorized to do by use. But this was not the case at The Coachworks RV. Jeff (the owner) kept in touch with me and let me know the work that needed to be done besides the upgrades we brought our motorhome to him to do. Besides a lot of minor things on the inside to be done, he replaced our rubber seals on our 2 slide outs (that we had already paid another RV repair shop to do when they worked on our slide outs but never got done). We wanted to remove our vinyl flooring and carpet and replace it with pergo floors. I ordered the same flooring we just had our house done in and had it shipped to Jeff. I didn't think about the trim that goes around all the edging at the time. I was pleasantly surprised though when we picked up our RV that he had picked out some edging that matched our flooring. And the work on the flooring and edging was done with attention to detail. Every strip, and every little corner were perfect. We also had to have a piece of carpet replaced under our main slide out. I told Jeff I wanted the same color as was there before. He matched it perfectly. He even took a piece of that same carpet and made a nice big pad to go under the drivers seat where we had him remove the carpet and replace with the pergo floor. I also told him we had a trip planned and needed it back by a certain day. And he kept his promise. We plan on continue making upgrades to the interior of our coach (as it is a 2008 diesel pusher with only 35,000 miles on it and mechanical sound). We will definitely continue to bring it to Jeff at the Coachworks for future upgrades even though he's in Tracy which is an hour away. Definitely worth the drive. If I could give it 10 stars I would! But since I can only give it 5 I will! Thanks Jeff!

Jeff and his team were absolutely amazing. I drive a 2007 Roadtrek that is no longer manufactured. After visiting three other mechanics with no luck, I pulled into Coachworks and Jeff & team knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it in a timely manner (especially since I’m living in my RV full time). They were easy to work with and charged a fair price.

Coachworks repaired my RV body damage recently and did beautiful work. The coach looks like new no evidence of damage. Jeff and Jessica were very helpful in scheduling around a couple trips I had planned and made the whole experience getting the repairs done as good as possible. A couple friends recommended Coachworks to me for the repairs and I'm so grateful for that. I could not be happier. The shop can handle several large RV's and looks clean and well maintained. Very professional all around.Chuck P. Livermore
