Although we did not buy an appliance yesterday, I have to say we had a wonderful person named Michelle help us to decide whether we needed a new fridge or not. She took lots of time with us and gave us all the options for our space and needs. We had a great interaction with her. I told her we were a little nervous to come in due to the reviews, but we had a great interaction and will definitely use them if we decide to get the new fridge.

Ugh! go to the Reno store - they're one in the same.. Unless you want to be spoken to like you're an idiot then go to the Truckee store!

Can't believe they even have 2 stars out of 5. I bought an ice maker from them and paid extra for installation. They delivered the ice maker then claimed they couldn't install it where the old ice maker had been and that I needed a plumber, who I was going to have to pay for, to install. If the machine is pushed back so it is flush with the front of the counter as the old one was, the drain tube is crimped in the back and the machine doesn't drain properly. After a "repair", the machine will produce ice for a few hours and then when I check it later the ice has all melted. When I called Czyz's they refused to assist me on the phone and refused to send anyone to repair or fix the issue. I am stuck with a worthless machine they refuse to take back or even comply with terms of their warranty leaving me no choice but to go to court. They don't even deserve the horrible 2 star rating. I will be back here once the court case has concluded. Just stay away from these flakes.

Really bad experience. I like supporting local companies but this has me reconsidering. I bought a washer / dryer unit from them and during installation they told me that because of the configuration it needed to be stacked but they couldn't do it that second because they didn't have the right equipment. They made a follow up appointment to stack them which I assumed would be free because it should have been part of the installation. When they finished they charged me almost $500! When I asked to know why they said they needed to charge me an installation fee since this wasn't part of the free installation they provide when you buy the unit! I'm pretty outraged by this. This is something on the verge of fraud. I would never buy from these crooks again.

Stay as far away from this "company" as possible. I had previously heard terrible things about Czyz's. But they had the Viking I needed in stock. So it was ordered with installation. Installation was scheduled for morning. Czyz's didn't show up until after 5. Upon installation, Czyz's broke the support leg for the Best pop up vent behind the stove. Then denied it. Upon inspection, it was clear during installation Czyz's pushed the controller breaking the support leg of the Best pop up vent. Czyz's then denied any liability. Still trying to find the time to take them to small claims court.

I always try to support local business but Czyz's makes this very difficult. I ordered a warming drawer for our kitchen and they tried to give me a unit which was manufactured 7 years ago and clearly out of warranty. When I asked nicely if they would replace with a new one, they declined.

Great experience with Michelle at the Truckee store! We ordered a wine fridge, and everything from the order to the delivery was quick and seamless. Very responsive and helpful.

I had an unpleasant phone call with Czyz's, and did not buy anything from them as a result. I was looking for a fridge which wasn't available at the Truckee Sears, so I called Czyz's. The tone of voice of the guy on the phone made me feel like I was being a pain in the neck just for calling them and asking what a specific fridge would cost. Also, they charge extra for credit cards, are not open on weekends, and wanted to charge $170 extra to take the fridge up a flight of stairs (above the already higher-than-Lowe's-or-AJ-Madison installation cost). All in all an unpleasant experience.

Don't use them! They are crooks. I would not even give these people any stars if I could to write a review. My interior designer bought two dishwashers from CZYZ's for us and arranged them to install. Being a second residence we were not there for the installation, but our caretaker was. Two months after installation not having even having used both of them, our housekeepers discovered water leaking down from the ceiling in a bedroom downstairs. Our caretaker who happens to be a contractor was panicked to figure out where the leak was coming from. After pulling out one of the dishwashers he discovered it had not been hooked up properly and was leaking water at the connection. He quickly called Czyz's to come over to asses the situation. They wanted him to lie and say they pulled the dishwasher out not him. They took the dishwasher away and then claimed it was the dishwasher not the conncection. We had major water damage in the room below the dishwasher and our insurance sent for the dishwasher to have it proffesionally assessed. It is a Boch dishwasher and it was determined to there were no defects. When my insurance company tried to talk to Mike the owner he kept avoiding them. He finally came out and denied that they ever even installed the dishwasher which was an outright lie! We have him communicating thru email with my designer confirming the installation. That dishwasher ended up costing us $12,000+ because of our $10,000. dectucable. I want to take CZYZ's to court.

My contractor in my kitchen remodel suggested I call Mike for replacement appliances. I can't get up there during the week so will have to do my homework in the Bay Area, but he took a long time with me on the phone and was super helpful in telling me which brands he thought would be best for my needs. He assured me that he wouldn't sell me something he didn't believe in, since he services what he sells.

Horrible experience with these people! Led me to believe I was getting a "special deal" on appliance, did not, and completely failed on cabinet installation schedule and quality. Then denied damage and trash that was left. Took months to respond to my requests. Would not ever use these people again nor recommend to anyone.......
