I hired Owens Brothers Transfer for my move from Reno, NV to Vancouver, WA on 2/24. Chris Chambers was my main point of contact for the booking. He provided a very reasonable quote and was very upfront about expectations.We had hit some unexpected snow the day of the move where any other moving company would have likely (and understandably) rescheduled, but Chris and his colleague Buck showed up nonetheless and managed to get everything in my 1b/1ba apt loaded in under 2 hours.Chris and Buck delivered my furniture to my new apartment in Vancouver, WA 2 days later (2/26) and managed to get everything unloaded in just over an hour.Overall, the move went smoothly despite the unexpected bad weather. I could not thank Chris and Buck enough for braving the snow and getting my furniture delivered on time. The actual price ended up being less than what Chris originally quoted which I was pleasantly surprised about.If anyone is considering a move to/from the Reno area, I would strongly recommend hiring Owens Brothers Transfer.

Owens Brothers just completed our second move in two years, and once again did a fabulous job. They have a long term team who took great care in packing and moving our belongings, and once again...nothing was damaged or broken. They are wonderful to work with - responsive and accommodating, and go out of their way to be sure everything is handled with care and in its place. We give them the highest possible recommendation.

This last week we moved furniture and boxes from a vacation home in Lincoln City, OR back to our primary residence in Reno, NV. First making arrangements with Chris was very easy. He was very accommodating to some date adjustments I requested. Buck and Ray were the movers and they were very hard working and just generally nice people. I had certain requests on how certain items were to be protected for storage and they did a great job of taking care with all of our items. I would recommend them for a move and would not hesitate in using them again.

I needed a move to Minden, NV from California and Owens Bros Transfer really took great care of me and my belongings. Very nice young men helped move my things, with much care might I add. Really appreciated the really great service I received and all my items showed up with no damage:) Happy person here.

Owens Bros. Moving and Storage is absolutely terrific! Chris Chambers (the owner) is honest, reliable, experienced, professional and less expensive than several other moving companies. We moved from Incline Village to Reno. Chris and his team did everything they said they were going to do and they did it on time and with great customer service. Because we did a lot of packing ourselves, the final bill was less than the estimate. We will definitely call on them again when we move from our rental house to our new home in Reno.

This is a well-run, professional and courteous outfit. Our movers showed up on time, did an excellent and thorough job, and stuck by their pricing. I was particularly impressed with Ray who texted me some follow-up questions and went above and beyond to make sure I had a seamless move. I also elected to use their storage facility and was permitted to add some items to my storage pods. The facility is clean, well organized and seemed very safe and secure. I'm super pleased I decided to go with Chris and Ray!
