Ponderosa Golf Course is a charming nine-hole golf course located in Truckee. The course is in excellent shape, with beautiful trees and smooth greens, offering an enjoyable golfing experience. While the greens may be a bit slow and bumpy, the overall course is fun and well-maintained. The staff is polite and helpful, and the bar is well-stocked. Despite some room for improvement in the bathroom facilities, Ponderosa Golf Course is a great option for a relaxing round of golf, whether you're an experienced player or a beginner.

Pleasant little course, but bunkers are essentially mud and most greens are in such poor shape the ball bounces because they are so rough.
The greens keepers tend to yank the plugs out for the holes, so in addition to the rough greens you have to fight raised holes that reject the line of a smooth putt.
