Super cute room, easy check in. It was nice staff was very friendly as well! Easy to walk for a quick bite as well. Definitely recommend!

It is 5:45, I have been running the bathtub water for 15 Mn and it is still cold.
I tried calling reception many times and nobody answered
No need to say that my experiencel was bad!! Without speaking about the poorly insulated windows and the noises of the cars and trucks all night… well, never more!! Not recommended!!!

Laid-back little place in a good location. Walkable to bike trails and to a shopping area with all kinds of stores restaurants pharmacy Starbucks etc.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. We were traveling with an infant and originally planning to stay in a queen room, the receptionist recommended we upgrade to a king so it wouldn't be so cramped and I'm glad we did. We also checked in just after 10pm and they waited for us. Super kind. Very nice little Inn, and much more affordable than anything actually at lake Tahoe.

The good: close to Tahoe Palisades
The bad: the rest. I mean the rooms haven’t been updated in many many years and it shows. The carpets are pretty gross in the room and everything else feels old and basically kept just so it’s usable
Breakfast is pretty basic
The people working there are trying, but not much can help if the rooms are so mishandled.

This is a nice place located close to I-80 in Truckee - nothing that'll blow you away, but it's reasonable for the price. The rooms are on the older side and the amenities are lean, but it covers the basics (desk, microwave, minifridge, basic breakfast), and most importantly it's always been very clean during my multiple stays. Staff are always friendly as well and available to help during desk hours.
The biggest sell is the location - situated centrally between Boreal, Palisades, and Northstar, and within a short drive of many food options in downtown Truckee, this hotel should be considered by anyone looking to ski at one of these resorts.

I had booked a stay with this hotel for the same day last weekend. After a few hours, when I was driving up to the hotel, there was a snowstorm and I couldn't make the drive. I called the hotel for requesting for refund or at least a date change before the check in time. They refused to consider the weather situation and flat refused any consideration of my requests. I understand I made a non refundable booking as it was for same day but the weather is out of my control. For the next day, I had a booking at another hotel which was much more considerate and immediately granted me cancellation and refund considering the weather situation. I was visiting for a ski resort who also accommodated the date change as weather issue was easily seen by everyone except Inn at Truckee. I was hoping this hotel manager and owner would have showed some empathy to my genuine reason of weather issue being in the hospitality industry. Also, its not like they were losing out on anything since i had made a last minute booking so that room would have gone unsold most probably. I am posting here for awareness so others wont repeat my mistake of booking here. I would suggest to look elsewhere where the hotels would value their customers.

My go to inn when doing a snowboard trip at Palisades Tahoe. It's one of the very few pet friendly places without going too far from the resort. The rooms are standard and never had any issues.

For $180/night pretty overpriced! It’s fine but nothing special, no elevators and front desk person not super helpful. Breakfast exists but it’s nothing special (lots of packaged foods) and you are close to highway. Handle was falling off one of the drawers but room/bed was fine. If it had been cheaper would’ve given it more stars as nothing was wrong just not worth price

Run down and too close to Highway 80, with old windows that let in noise and cold! Thermostat to heater needs to be moved across the room so noisy heater doesn’t run all night. If you stay here don’t forget the earplugs. Over priced! Couldn’t even bother removing snow from the parking lot a week after last snow. No elevators. Extremely small breakfast area that they don’t bother having enough food for guests. At 7 am on a Saturday they were out of breakfast foods.
