Had to cut up a huge number of rounds. Truckee rents has very powerful splitters, bigger than what one might normally buy at a Home Depot. They tested everything before I left and hooked it up to my Jeep. Super simple process and of course they went over how to use it without being condescending. This is a great local shop from which I've bought high quality equipment. Highly recommend them for any tool needs.

It was my frist time, The gentleman at the front counter was extremely rude and extremely unprofessional, acted like I was asking for to much, I was very disappointed, I will not be renting any tools/ equipment from here ever again

So far I've rented an excavator and a wood chipper from them. Equipment functioned well and was maintained really well. Their team is professional and super knowledgeable, a bit gruff at times but not rude.
They stand behind their equipment, deliver one-time, help as quickly as possible if anything goes wrong, and generally have a very well-run operation and fair prices.

I’ve had multiple negative experiences with small engine repairs at this business. I will travel far to avoid using them for anything. Terrible work, not helpful when issues raised, look elsewhere.

In a pinch, took my portable generator here to get it working again. Even though it was not one of their certified models (it was a Husky), they fixed it regardless. When I still struggled to get it started after I took it home (the winding roads got fuel in the spark plug), I got on the phone with the technician, Steve, and he walked me through how to clear it out. And it worked! Special thanks to Steve!
I also learned about how the fuel goes bad so quickly these days, and it's necessary to use a special kind of fuel conditioner.
I learned a lot from these folks. Kudos!

Have been using Truckee Rents for years. Unfortunately this time I cant say a good thing. Rented a concrete saw for a project late Friday. Started the project on Saturday afternoon - saw wouldnt cut anything we needed to cut. Too late to take back so since closed on Sunday went Monday- explained to cashier who offered NOTHING- but happily charged us 250 for something that was worthless for the project- Wasted funds. Lesson learned.

After a recent snowstorm, I found myself in the market for a Honda snowblower. Truckee Rents Inc had the exact unit I was looking for, in stock, and at an excellent price. The customer service end to end was excellent. I would recommend Truckee Rents to anyone in the market for a Honda snowblower, or any other equipment they sell. Because of Honda's unchallenged quality and reliability, it's the only brand of power equipment I buy!
