Had a Uhaul pick up scheduled for 7am and the store wasnt open at the time it said it would be. He was over an hour and a half late opening the store, making my day longer than it needed to be, and it was a huge inconvenience.

This place is ridiculously crappy. I know it's not in a great location and I shouldn't expect much, but it was even worse than that. The guy working there at the time of my visit was rude and aggressive and suddenly decided he needed to help everyone in line before me. There are many small businesses that need help staying alive, I'd rather keep them in business than people like this.

Down to the nitty gritty with the check cashing service at Canyon Market. Community market that has been around for years & years with the nice, friendly people behind the counter selling a variety of goods at comparable prices sounds dandy.....until u walk in with a $12,800 COVID-19 RENT RELIEF CHECK AND MARLON AGREES TO CASH THE CK FOR U AND U NEVER SEE A PENNY OF IT! Trust & believe me when I say that ck was cashed & pd out, but not beyond the market doors to me. U know the famaliar days that follow where he puts u off, saying the ck hasn't cleared yet and how he's doing everything he can to cash it for u. The days, weeks just tick by. Marlon goes to great lengths to convince u what a honest business man he is and would never want his reputation ruin. Much like a person continually telling u to trust them, the less u can? What song starts playing in you head, is what occurs next, " The Sound of Silence". Phone calls and text are ignored, etc.,.....one month......two months.....I know what your thinking, "not Marlon at my go to liquor market"! SURPRISE !!!----WELCOME TO MY WORLD----p.s. back to being homeless again.

I love this place, super nice guy, convenient, excellent selection of beverages, incl. Wine, beer, and the strong stuff, sodas and sports drinks also. Cigs and vapes too.. check it out!

The owner seems sweet. I try to support this store because of him, because of his energy, and because it is local but these guys he has working there sometimes rub me the wrong way. I swear the one guy who is Latinx? Armenian? I wouldn't know because I opt to not make eye contact with people who are silent when I enter their place of employment. He's younger than the majority of the males I've seen behind the register. It's not like they wear name tags here. This is customer service. I am a customer. I'm spending my money here. Helping to keep this place in business. Treat me as such! Whatever he may be makes me want to turn around and exit as soon as I see him behind the register. No greeting, no have a nice day, it just seems as though I'm interrupting his phone time or whatever he does in between customers. 5 stars for the owner. Afro American, short, handsome, but his employees need to borrow some of his pleasant energy because they impact the ambiance of this store...
