From start to finish, communication was poor and customer service was essentially nonexistent. I was given a rough estimate of about an hour, yet the wait stretched to well over three hours with no meaningful updates.
Whenever I reached out for a status check, I was told the service would arrive shortly. These assurances kept changing and proved to be inaccurate. After a prolonged period of waiting and repeated delays, my attempt to get a clearer explanation was met with defensiveness rather than accountability.
Instead of acknowledging the lack of accurate timing or transparency, responsibility was shifted onto me as the customer. That response alone says a lot about how this business operates.
The entire situation felt disorganized, misleading, and highly unprofessional. After experiencing this firsthand, it’s easy to understand why this company has a pattern of negative feedback. I would advise others to avoid using this service and look elsewhere.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Very disappointed. They make you wait for hours with no clear communication or updates. Completely unprofessional.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do yourself a favor and look for a different towing company.
Also if you look at the responses they replay to everyone they never take responsibility always blaming other of disrespect..which they are the one who disrespects and not doing their job.
P.s You guys need to learn how to give better service and not be disrespectful when people are waiting for your service. If you dont like your job dont do it.

Complete joke of a company. The tow truck driver was insanely rude and had no idea what he was doing. Took 45 minutes of blocking traffic and driveways to load a car. Then when I called to talk to a supervisor about it was like they didn't care. Unsafe, rude, don't use them. CA#592138

This was a tow scheduled through AAA. I was told the tow truck from the first provider would arrive at 8:24a. At 8:27a, I got a note that they had changed providers to Jose with Car Geeks and that he would arrive at 9a. At 9:05a, I called AAA. For the next hour and an half, every status update through AAA kept saying the tow would be there within 15 minutes. Jose didn’t arrive until 10:45a and he had driven up from LA so it sounds like Car Geeks wasn’t honest with AAA about the time it would take him to arrive to me in Santa Barbara. Jose would not share his contact information with me. This is my client’s car that was being towed and it’s a very expensive vehicle. I provided detailed information both about the exact location and point of contact for the delivery of car in LA. Apparently, when Jose arrived, the porter said they weren’t expecting him so instead of calling and communicating with me and confirming the information, he just delivered to the wrong place (the dealership next door). A big concern about moving this vehicle was driving it on and off the lift so it was imperative that our contact in LA be the one to drive it off. So, imagine my panic when I got a call from the receiving mechanic that he didn’t have the car even though AAA was saying it had been successfully delivered. When I called the Car Geeks tow truck office, they didn’t know it was going on either, hung up on me, and never called me back. I called the dealership and tracked down the car. Thankfully, my mechanic was able to go over to get it. Overall, it was a very unprofessional and incredibly frustrating experience — all which could have been easily avoided. Just tell me you won’t be here until 10:30a. Put me in contact with the Car Geeks office if you don’t want to share your personal information. Call me when the correct location is saying they can’t receive the call. It was unnecessarily stressful and a total mess. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Worst experience, the driver did not make any effort to tow our truck into our driveway he just stated he couldn’t without trying and then charged us $201 . I called the office and spoke to rude gentleman that kept cutting me off and I asked for a manager and of course one wasn’t available. I called triple A immediately and reported our experience.

They were unprofessional; they gave me an ETA of one hour but didn’t show up. When I called, they said they would arrive in about three hours without any prior notice. Seriously, they can do better.

Called for a lockout and tow. The driver was unable to unlock the door to the car. He said he was gonna call dispatch to see what they wanted him to do. He ended up canceling our service after waiting 3 hours for him. Instead of just offering to tow the car he left us stranded and told us to figure it out!

Marc is a genius. Parked my truck all the way in the back. Managed to fit in my driveway. Brought me the truck with care and reasonable time.
Thanks, CG towing.

Was connected to this towing company via AAA. I was in a tight bind and desperately needed a long distance tow for a disabled family member. Brandon was so helpful and kind. On top of all of that, he arrived earlier than the actual estimated time of arrival. I was thankfully relieved AND to top that, I received a follow-up call later in the day about the services provided. In my opinion, this is great customer service and a genuine care for the customers. I understand that it's hard to please everyone and that people will have bad experiences but I'm so thankul this towing company took the AAA request for towing call. Thank you Car Geeks 😊

I am utterly disappointed with the service provided by Car Geek Towing Company. I called for a tow at 5 PM on June 7, 2024, and they kept postponing until Saturday morning. They claimed their tow truck broke down due to a busted radiator, which is a blatant lie because the tow truck was completely new.
I didn't get my car back until 2 PM the following day. In my 25 years of being a AAA member, I have never experienced such poor service. The customer service was abysmal, and the overall experience was unacceptable. I will never use Car Geek Towing Company again, and I urge others to avoid them as well.

Sunday @ approximately 9pm your driver nearly caused a head on collision on foothill by blocking all lanes of traffic during a green light so he could back into the tow yard. Learn to turn around in your own yard or not at all. Don’t kill someone on foothill because you’re in a hurry to pull in.
