“Renting medical equipment when you live out of the area can be challenging. We went to visit family and my mobility-impaired husband needed a transport chair . We don't own one as he only uses one when we travel. I looked up medical supply places in the area we were going to, read the reviews, and contacted A & M Medical. They were excellent to work with, delivered and picked up the chair from the hotel we were staying at, and provided a very nice brand new chair at a reasonable price. My niece is a physical therapist and she was impressed with the chair- said for a rental it was very nice. It is sad to say, however these days I am impressed when someone does what they say they will do!! I recommend A & M supply and appreciate their services.”

“I've had a great experience with Sherman Oaks Medical Equipment. I recommend them to everybody, especially if you have to pay out of pocket.I went to the Pacoima location for a used manual chair and I left with something way nicer than I thought I could afford. They asked me questions, they measured me, and spent a long time making adjustments to the chair we chose so that it fits me really well. They made good recommendations when I didn't actually know what would work for me (things like seat cushion, wheel camber, and seat dump).They include a month of adjustments with the chair, and I've gone in for fine-tuning twice. The first time, they switched my brakes to easier ones and did some small things like move my side guards. The second time, they adjusted my caster fork angle. They worked really quickly and I didn't need an appointment.I've talked to several different people in person and on the phone and everyone has been so helpful. It's a relief that I can ask a million questions and they don't get cagey or frustrated with me-- they always fully explain because they really know what they're doing here.”

“Intracommunity Home Care went so many extra miles to help my mother-in-law get a portable oxygen concentrator. Her doctor’s office was having a hard time replying in a timely manner to give her a prescription for the device, so Geraldine at IHC called the office to aid the transaction. After the prescription came through, they made an appointment to thoroughly explain how to use the device, and called back several times to make sure everything was going well. They thought of things my MIL might want before she even brought it up. What’s really hard to express is how comfortable they made her feel during the whole process. In the weeks that followed, my MIL called us to tell us that she was using her increased ease of mobility to get out in her garden and to take walks around her neighborhood. Having such personalized attention during the process made a huge difference in her quality of life.”
