We tried this location a week ago and had to write about it. We arrived right when it opened. Ambiance was great, the music played was a great touch. Patricia our server did an amazing job with the somewhat large group we had. The food was reasonably size and very tasty. If you do end up ordering the chicken parm just know it's a little too salty but still very satisfying.

Absolutely delicious entrees and meatballs, excellent chianti (Pasqua Classico) and very pleasant atmosphere. Also we enjoyed the unique setting, lots of character!

Villa Terraza, is a little hideaway gem. The restaurant is nice and food is good. The service has always been good and the food is as well. The place is a little small but the ambiance there is nice. We like to little nook dining areas for two to four guest.

Absolutely delicious!!! Great service and a stunning location, beautiful grounds and unique interior. Hidden gem. Don't speed by this place. It's fantastic - I took my parents (and they are generally tough to please in terms of restaurants) and all of us thought our food was amazing and so tasty! We found a new favorite place!

I came with my boyfriend, and we loved our time here. We sat inside because it was a bit windy, but we walked outside after we ate and it made me want to come back and sit outside the next time we come! The ground are beautiful and the history is interesting. We had a cute little private booth inside, and our waitress was great! We ordered the mozzarella sticks and calamari to start us off, and loved both because of the tasty breading on each. My boyfriend said he especially liked the dipping sauce, it was sooo yummy. He ordered his chicken parmesan with spicy marinara, making it be perfectly spicy. The chicken itself was great and very decently sized. I ordered the seafood linguine with Alfredo sauce and it was amazing!! The fish was tender, shrimp cooked great, and muscles and clams weren't fishy at all. Both pastas were perfectly cooked. Our only "hiccup" was that our waitress came back and told us she forgot to put in our entrees to the kitchen so we waited a while for the food, but kindly made up for it with giving us the spumoni ice cream on the house. We'll be back for more!

My boyfriend brought me here for dinner. I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and he had the lasagna, we were both very happy with the taste and quality of the food. The service was immaculate. We highly recommend it, definitely a hidden gem.

Gave this place a try, as it was nearby & had good reviews. In short: it was very disappointing & i would NOT recommend coming here. Our experience, the elongated version: We were seated upon arrival & greeted by our server. We ended up ordering a bottle of their champagne for mimosas, as it was cheaper this way. We asked for juices to come with our champagne, I believe they mentioned it was included, but attempted to charge us for it after. It was also cheap champagne, so it needed juice. I ordered the lasagna, which the waiter said is her favorite. The food took a very long time to come out & we were unfortunately very hungry. I took a bite of the lasagna & the pasta wasn't even cooked through. It was crunchy. It seemed as though this lasagna had been sitting out for hours & they just added medium temp meat sauce to it before it came out. When I advised the manager of the crunchy lasagna, she proceeded to advise me that the Chef has advised that he is sorry that I did not like the flavor, but that is his recipe and made it as intended. It was a very disappointing response to say the least. My partners food was also very bland and mild temp. He ordered the spaghetti. We were very disappointed with the experience & the food, but we still covered our bill that was $100+. Not sure why they are so expensive, as the quality of their food is not up to par. Everything on their menu was pretty pricey, especially when you take into account that it is not even enjoyable. Or edible at that.

This was our first visit and was most impressed. Patricia was our host and tended to our requests. She was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. My group had chicken parmigiana, egg plant parmigiana, the filet with pasta, and I had spaghetti and meatballs- none of these entries disappointed any one of us - they were delicious. And, to top it off, we were serenaded with live keys as we sang happy birthday to our buddy Chris. We look forward to a return visit

Nice place for date night. The pastas are all great. As to location, watch the street numbers or you can easily drive past the driveway.

This is the only really nice, white tablecloth restaurant anywhere near our home in lake View Terrace. We spend many special occasions there. The building is really neat, built to look like a European Villa. Wait staff is excellent. Their food is delicious. We can especially recommend the steaks (which are actually made the way you ordered them) and the overly indulgent cheesy-garlic bread. All the menu items are good, though. Our only complaint is that the very small dining room gets way too noisy easily and there's no escape if it's too cold to go outside. On Xmas Eve we were near a large (16ish) party who were having a really good time-- which we wouldn't begrudge them, but one especially loud woman sounded like a goat when she (frequently) laughed; the rest were equally loud to be heard over her, but did not sound like goats. Pro tip: when you find yourself in your group dinner shouting to be heard, you're being too loud! We were also there when they had a live singer who was amplified to an ear-splitting level. Understand, it's a really small dining room! So we left. Outside is lovely most of the year though.

Excellent first time here. Will be coming back to try more food. But definitely get these for your first time. 1. Garlic cheese bread 2. Calamari 3. Cioppino (this was the best dish I tried so far) excellent amount of seafood in the soup. My family came right when they opened. Not crowded whatsoever. And the service was excellent as well. Extremely friendly and helpful waitress. Will be back again soon!
