have a recall on my car and they said because it only doesn't have stock rims no other modifications they said they couldn't accept my car. my car isn't lowered it has no other things done to it so its more than capable of going on a lift and it's a transmission recall so the wheels wouldn't even be touched. sounds like a bunch of people that just wanna half ass do a job to say they get paid to me and in my opnion I wouldn't want people like that working on my stuff that I work hard for.

I have always been happy with the service I receive from Stone Chevrolet, Buick, GMC whether it be the sales department, the service department, or the parts department. The staff have always been courteous and friendly.

I took my car in for a recall. the recall was for the ignition control module. they said they re programed it. now my car won't start and they want 1300 to fix it. my car was running when I drove it over there. they said it burned out while the recall was being done. I spoke with a manager and they said they would fix. the car was fixed but when I went to pick it up my car the air bag light is on now. and none of there checks before or after the recall indicated that a air bag light was one. they released the car with no note of it being on I drove two miles down the road and I brought it back. now there not taking responsibility for what they did to my car. all I want is for them to leave my car in the condition I dropped it off in. no check engine or air bag lights on

My experience at Stone Chevrolet was great. Joey was my sales person and sold me a 2023 Chevy Trailblazer. Joey made everything smooth, relaxing, one of the best experiences ive had buying a new car.. I also wanted to mention the finance person (I apologize for not remembering his name) but he was super cool, laid back, very professional made my paperwork easy. I highly recommend Stone Chevrolet, ask for Joey. Cheers..

When we bought our car used a few months ago in Clovis, it broke down 3 weeks after purchase. We had to get it towed here, and they got us in quickly without an appointment. The also quickly fixed everything required for the cylinder misfire that happened. They also found that the air conditioning wasn’t working while the vehicle was here, we took it to the dealership we bought from to get it fixed, but are thankful the issue was found and brought to our attention while here. We knew it wasn’t cold air, but hadn’t had time in the short period of owning it to get it fixed.

The people are friendly and I was able to get oil change and a repair done in one day. I was able to get transported to work after drop off and picked up from work. My only concern is the charge for a microphone replacement. I was told 182.00 just to diagnose, not including any repairs or labor. I was hesitant however I needed the blue tooth fixed so agreed. When I called back at 1130, I was told that it would be 500.00 to replace microphone. It could take about an hour to get the part and an hour to put it in. I was picked up from work and waited in the waiting room. It was done in the timeframe. However looking at my invoice, I saw the microphone was 35 dollars and some change. In my mind when I was told that it would cost me 500.00. I thought the part was alot more money. I called Victor back on Monday, just to confirm the price. 182.00 just to diagnose, 35.47 for the part and 288.00 to put it in. That's 288.00 an hour charged after diagnosis fee and part. If the headliner is already down to diagnose, then why is it 288.00 to put microphone in and replace headliner?? I fill like I was over charged. I do not have a warranty since last year it expired. Now if I need repairs I am going to have to shop around or go without. I have been a Chevy customer since 2000, that's 23 years I have only owned Chevy vehicles, 3 trucks and 1 car.

Would never buy a car any where else for the exceptional service & professionalism that I can always count on from the great team they have now at Merle Stone Chevrolet Buick GMC in Tulare!! I needed brake pads & routers & the service department made it happen & was ready in one day!! They even kept my car there safe until I could pick it up at my convenience!!! Always courteous service with my home town feel...Thank you to the wonderful team!!!!!!

Joel Alvarez was amazing! He is professional, polite and very knowledgeable. He spent time with us showing all the different amenities our new vehicle has. He helped us set up our dashboard, our phones to the vehicle, everything. His service from the beginning of the process to the end of the whole process he was there to guide us through everything. We can’t say enough about him. This is our second vehicle we have purchased from Joel Alvarez. In the future if we decide to purchase another one Joel will be who we will call on. Thank you Merle stone for having great people at your Merle Stone family working together for us customers.

Dropped off vehicle the day before appointment/service requested. Called to get an update on possible issue, told that they don't have a tech to work on the vehicle. They are backed up! Then why schedule an appointment and then tell me it could be longer before they are able to get to the vehicle. What was the point of making an appointment?

Waited 7 months for a custom order truck exactly how I built it out, no fault of the dealers for the wait. Truck finally arrived and it wasn't even built to my spec. Wrong wheels, missing options. They blamed it on GM but at no point in my wait did they bother to tell me it different than how my build sheet was. Wasted that time and now interest rates are insane. Never offered to make it right or fix it just a single sorry. Took 2 weeks to get my deposit back. Never dealing with them again and I recommend you don't either.

Tulare Stone Chevrolet is the worst establishment I have ever experienced. I purchased a 2021 vehicle from them in 2021. The vehicle had issues. The company offered to buy the vehicle back and sell me a new one (Same model). I started experiencing new issues with the most recent vehicle. Service department “fixed” the issue. Months down the road, I started experiencing the same issues with the vehicle again. When seeking assistance and care for the vehicle (utilizing my warranty) I was treated so rude. The customer service was terrible and I was treated like a liar and I wasn’t giving all the information. I explained to the service writer to the best of my ability what I had experienced with the vehicle in turn only to be hassled even more with questions. Rather than reassurance that the vehicle would be looked at and a determination given and attempt to resolve any issues. I felt I was to determine the diagnosis. Ultimately I was continued to be questioned to the point I just left, literally drove away. I called to speak with a manager and was transferred to Allen Stone who right off hand began defending his employee indicating a line of question is needed. I agreed with the gentleman however I explained I gave all the information I could to the best of my ability only to be given excuses to why I may have felt questioned.. not once an apology or a resolution. It seems they want to do the easy work of selling the vehicles and oil change’s.. not the challenging work of resolving more serious issues needed. Maybe they want you to hold out until the warranty is over. I will never purchase a vehicle from this establishment again. Mind you I’ve purchased 4 since 2012. I contacted Giant Chevrolet explained my issue and I was give an appointment quickly and advised I would be given a rental if the vehicle needs to be kept longer than a day… in turn, just in that one phone call my experience was already positive. STONE CHEVROLET IS TERRIBLE!!!
