About Ellis Motel
Ellis Motel is an old-school family-run motel, not a chain. It is a fantastic out of the way place to spend the night, a bit ragged around the edges but a very good value for the money. The staff is extremely helpful, nice, and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spotless, some with a tiny kitchen including a real stove and full-size refrigerator. It is a great place to stay in Tule Lake.
Stayed with this outfit a while back. Nice room, good service, reasonable rates, pleasant stay. Worth mentioning the huge trees that line the place, probably over a hundred years old.

stop here because it was a good half way mark for my trip. the lady was super nice and had great recommendations for places to eat and the room was spotless
