Gilbert helped me tremendously with all the numbers and paper work. Made the experience pleasant and did not feel rushed or pressured. Everyone else that was involved also provided the same positive attitude and were welcoming. Overall, great experience!

I did a nationwide search because I wanted a particular vehicle and found it at Bonander, so I thought I'd Call them to inquire about the car eventually left a down payment to hold the car until I can make it to California to take a look at it and possibly signing paperwork I'm an OTR truck driver so it took me 3 weeks to get home time.. so I arrived at the dealership (GILBERT). Was the salesman the car had a few particular imperfections I didn't like maybe nothing major for some but unacceptable for me I wasn't happy with the car and particularly Gilbert's sales techniques I can go into detail about that but I won't, but I will say this he got so angry that I didn't want to buy the car and I mean he truly felt like I was obligated to since it took so long to make the deal happen when I told him he was wrong I'm not obligated to buy anything he literally told me "THATS WHY WE DONT LIKE WORKING WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU" very loud and without hesitation in the middle of the showroom floor I don't know if that meant black people or what but I know it meant there is no way in hell you was getting any money out of my pocket at this point although someone else came out and politely tried to sell me the vehicle I was never even offered an apology so he was spinning his wheels at that point. This⬆️⬆️ is the short version. :UPDATE: Well, at least they acknowledge it and didn't call me a liar. I still never got an apology, so maybe it's true and common knowledge they just don't like working with people like us

Do not buy a car from Bonander atleast if you’re not white. Ive never felt like I was treated differently because of my race until today (Asian). I took my Yukon Denali to get a repair from their body shop and at the end of the repair, without my permission, sent the vehicle to service to get diagnosed for a check engine light. They call me days later and say it will take two weeks and refused to give me a loaner car even though it’s under warranty. The service person John yelled at me in front of other customers after he was told no one gave permission to service the car. A manager subsequently had to intervene when John was being so belligerent. He also wrote on the invoice with pen that I wanted an oil change and a variety of services which I had no idea about. My wife (who is white) came in and acknowledged I experienced racism today! Buy and service your GM with Smith Chevrolet . They treated me with decency regardless of my race. I took my car to Smith Chevrolet right after this incident and they immediately got me a rental vehicle, ordered the part and apologized for the terrible treatment I received at Bonander.
