My father had an appointment for his banking related question and the lady explained the issue in an understandable way and resolved it attentively in less than 25 minutes .The local Citi branch associates are caring and professional and ready to assist customers with dignity.

Open the account here if one day you want find that they will refuse to give you back all your money in your account. Can it happen? Yes it happened to me. It is happening to me for about 6 months now. I am communicating with the dickheads in Modesto and NY CITI bank since March 2020.I opened an account with CITI two years ago. At that time they told me that I have to keep certain balance in order to have free checking active account. Knowing banks, I asked the same question of two employees in the Modesto branch. Things were fine for about a year. In March 2020 I received a message that my account is closed because there is not enough activity. When I asked what activity, they told me I must deposit my salary at CITI. I have other bank where I deposit my salary so I was not going to give in into the extortion. Since March I sent about 20 emails to head a****** who is named Mike Corbat and other CITI employees. After they told me that they do not want to keep my account, I told them that I want to pull my money out.The CITI bankers are refusing to give me my money. WTF. In case you think that I am rude. You are mistaken. Since March until August I used nice clean language. But the cunts still refused to give me my money. I am now 200 miles away from the nearest branch because CITI is going out of business and also because I moved. Normally you can do any banking on line. But in CITI -- they blocked my ability to move my account out of CITI.See this recent article in business news by Reuters.(Reuters) - Citigroup Inc said on Tuesday it will shutter up to 20% of its U.S. branches. CITI bank, said last week it would shut about 20% of its branch network leaving it with only roughly 4,000 locations.I have contacted all of these dickheads to get my money

CITIBANK QUARANTINE + RIOT EDITION 2020: Nurses, doctors, and delivery workers are praised as essential workers, but nobody ever thanks bank employees. I want to thank the bank employees for their bravery and hard work. They don't have to be there when the world is burning, but they are. I appreciate them and thank them. I made a promise that I wouldn't come back to this branch until I could have a million dollars in my account to buy a cd. I have broken that promise. Things were quite optimistic, before corona virus. But then I lost my job, then my health insurance. I look like a millionaire to medi-cal. I go to my phone app to see how much money I have left. I have two-step verification so I tell them to send me a text. 10s goes by and no text. I ask them to resend a couple of times. Nothing. I google citibank. I see some news that citibank was hacked. Why not, the whole world is burning anyways. I decide to call the branch to see if I can get some money before the world ends. "Hi this is [Bank Manager] how can I help you?" She still works there and she answered the phone. What are the odds? "Hi [BM] how's it going?" "I'm doing great, who is this?" "This is [John]." She pauses for a moment, "Oh hi [John] how are you?" She has no idea who I am. That is why I never said hi to her in the first place, didn't want to put her in the situation of being polite and acting like she remembered me. It's always weird when someone knows you and you kind of don't know who they are at all. "I'm having trouble with my citibank." In retrospect, that sentence made no sense at all. I should've said online banking. That was my opener. Then I said, "If I come to the bank, can I withdraw some money." That follow up statement seemed even crazier. And I try to fix that sentence with, "Because I saw online that citibank was hacked." She says, "Not to my knowledge and asked me how much I was withdrawing." I say, "Not much." By the way, half an hour later, I get the text message for my 2nd verification for my iphone. I try to type it in, but when you try to log in it asks to send another code and the old code doesn't work. I can't win. Anyways, I haven't really left my house for about two months and looked accordingly. And I was like, the bank manager is going to be there. Should I dress up and groom myself so I don't look like a homeless person? My shorts actually had threads coming out of it and the more I tried to tear the thread off the more thread would come out, eventually it looked semi-clean. I looked at my face, this won't do. I splash some water on my face. I don't have to look that good, she'll probably be in the back, far away, at least far enough away where she couldn't smell me. Two months without deoderant, why break the cycle? I either groom really nice or I basically don't do it at all. There's no mid way. So, on the way there, I'm trying to figure out how to wear ppe to a bank without getting shot in a time of riots and chaos. So, I thought I would use the casino approach. I would walk into the bank with the mask on my chin so the cameras could see me clearly, then I would put the mask on for safety. I also had plastic gloves, which in other circumstances would look bizarre. I also had this idea where they couldn't hear me through a face mask, and that I would slip them a piece of paper to tell them what I wanted. But then it would've seemed even more like I was trying to rob the place. So, I decided to kind of shout through my face mask like a mad man, that was not robbing the place. I walk in and see her, I flash her a smile before I put my ppe on. I look like total crap. She hadn't changed a bit. Still that beautiful golden hair. Unfortunately her face was covered with a mask. Do you even need to put lipstick on during coronavirus? Beautiful people are at a disadvantage during coronavirus, while unattrac

Very long story somewhat short: 12-year customer, consistently in good standing, closed two credit accounts last night after an hour on the phone with Customer Service (what a joke) because both the agent (Ayush) and his supervisor (Mohit) kept taking guesses as to why I received an error message (# 01000) four times at both ATMs at the Turlock Geer Road branch when trying to make a cash payment per Citibank's own policy, not to mention as I had done a-hundred times.

I've been with Citibank for almost 10yrs and this has got to be the worst branch for using the one atm out front or the one in the drive threw. I have mentioned in twice in the past and the manager or staff say they will look into it. I use many branches up and down Cali but this is the worst when it comes to using the ATM. Either it's out of order or not taking deposits in which both happen to me today. Probably like the 6th time this has happened. I'm so fed up I decided to write this review and seriously thinking about switching banks. Like I said this isn't a one time thing... It happens over and over again. Why charge me 12 bucks a month if your s*** never works properly!!! Huh!!! So fed up!!!

GREAT staff! HORRIBLE corporate customer service!!!! They have the worst, most inconvenient business hours of any bank I've ever delt with! Don't expect to have your needs met via online or by telephone, everything requires much hoop jumping! I'll be changing accounts soon.
