As an FFA alumni, and a long time fans of the fair, I can tell you that this venue is great, especially during the summer when we have all those animals, rides, vendors, shows, and more to keep you and the family entertained. I have gone to the fair every year for over 10 years and would highly recommend to anyone who has been on the fence about checking it out.

The process to enter was too long. We waited 2 hours to get in during the weekday. They need to have better access for disability. There was a man in crutches waiting too long in línea, it was not until he seemed ill that assistance came in to drive him near the entrance.

(STANCO FAIR 2023) To the super ghetto white girl employee w/blonde hair & super dark LONG eyelashes at the entrance of the fair who loudly said “UMMMMMMMMM…” and made a super stank face while saying it… seek customer service skills! You could have kindly said “ma’am the line is right behind you.” It was already a long walk to the entrance with two argumentative ten year olds. I didn’t realize we had some security check beforehand and her customer service was down right embarrassing… I wasn’t even NEAR the admission booth, and she really embarrassed me and made a scene. I’m honestly disgusted with her and I just KNOW she didn’t “UMMMMMMMMMM” outrageously loud the last person! (It says Virgil smith because somehow this is logged into my gpas acc?????… but I’m a female who is taken away by this other woman. I guess I should take into account they’re only here a week, so they truly don’t care how they treat people. Obviously.

My Family and I were discriminated against and harassed by the security team and their supervisor at the point of entry. Kim Williams the CEO of Stanislaus County Fair refused to give me a number I can call to let them know about our experience with her staff. Although she thanked me for bringing it up to her attention. It was obvious she cared more about her image as the CEO of Stanislaus County Fair than what my family had gone through. I never asked for her excuses and fake apologies, all I asked her for was basic public information which she refused to give me. She really thought that by offering us treats to "make our day better" I would magically forget what we were put through by her badly trained staff.I really wish I remembered the names of the security personale that treated my family so wrong. I say this because not every security guard acted like the ones that harassed my family over an unsealed bottle of Pedialyte which I had brought for my one year old daughter. Most of the security guards were polite and were there to do their job.I apologize for the long story, bad punctuation and poor grammar but I'm no major in the English languange.

Nice fair. The number of shopping vendors has drastically been reduced. Huge long wait to get into fair with no chairs available during wait. 4 lines and only a single person in each line doing security screening; should have had many many more screeners!!! Needed benches in cooling areas. The fair grounds were very clean, great staff picking up trash all day.

They didn't let me down in 2022. They brought back the fair and also the coupon books. I don't know any fair other then this that has coupon books. I support the deals so please never ditch those. Also I love bone thugs but whoa I had no idea how explosive that concert would be. TheyShowed they got love for there fans and they seemed really comfortable up there on stage rapping. I mean like these legendary rappers were really doing this for us and not just getting that buck and bouncing. They really outdid themselves and showed the fans love. They even went in overtime . Bizzies my fave but I figured he wouldn't be there. I really got to see how amazing they all were . It was great to see wish spitting and wow great to see flesh really bossing up and of course layzie and krazie. The beer prices weren't bad either. The animal areas were great too. Stanco didn't disappoint.

We have been going to this fair for many years. They have really shrunk the amount of rides. The cost of games and rides are high... but the food and drink prices are ridiculous! $10 for a corn dog! It is a huge corn dog, but come on??? A bottle of water is $3.00, a cotton candy and a icy... $18.00! I don't know how young families can afford to go. It is not the entry fee's that are outrageous... it's the food and drinks! I was going to take my grandson again during the week... were going to pass.

Disapointed how this cost $15 per person just to walk through the gate. Isn't there vendors at the fair? And stuff to buy? I would have liked to take my family but it would have been $60 bucks family of 4 not including food and drinks.

Good family fun! Admission for adults $15 - Wrist Band for unlimited rides $40 - Parking $10 - There was plenty to eat for everyone, adult beverages and souvenirs. Make sure you take a lot of money... It's pricy!!And of course ATM machines are located through out the grounds in case you run out. LolRestrooms were clean.Enjoy!!?

It was nice to go on all the rides. The vendors however overcharged - we paid about $150 - $200 for 2 drinks each and a hotdog and ice cream for 3 people - then they refused the coupons in the welcoming flyer. It's was ok. It was a fun experience. We won't go again though.

WAY OVERPRICED! If you're going to charge high prices it better be HIGH QUALITY! Honestly it's way better to go in 105° heat during the day than to go at night, I'll explain. During the daytime it's not crowded at all, including rides, games, and vendors so you can pretty much do everything you want to. Plus with the food vendors not being rushed, the food quality is better than at night. HOWEVER since we ate during the day and night I can say that nothing was great. Funnel cakes are alright, deep fried Oreos were sitting for a long time and they lost all their crunch and warmth. Big Jim BBQ chicken kebab was very lackluster, almost no smoke flavor and no seasoning with oversized pieces of vegetables that weren't cooked very well. I mean, I don't want to eat a 3 inch thick piece of squash that's cold. Plus their coleslaw has no dressing and just tastes like cabbage with pepper and their baked beans are very bland. $24 dollars for that whole meal is way too much. Overall I was extremely disappointed in the fair, it's been over ten years since I last went and I can't imagine I'll want to return anytime soon.
