This repair shop was the worst one I have ever been to. Warranty means nothing there, I was given a 6 month warranty that was not honored. The people that work there trick you into paying more money for something that's not even the problem. If you can go to a different shop, do it. This place will not do a good job and they will lie to you.

I contacted Javier's Automotive for the first time on March 28th, 2018 because my 2000 Honda Civic was not running. Mr dominguez (Nacho) said he could replace the engine or try to fix that one. I decided to replace the engine because the cost was almost the same. I paid him about $2,000. I went to other shops but I decided to do it at his shop because he gave 6 month warranty (which he never intended to honor) and he said he could do the job in one week. It took 2 1/2 weeks. A week after picking up the car, I called the shop because the car was leaking a lot of oil. I took it back, and when he checked it, he told me it was transmission oil. He said it would cost $400 to $500 to fix it. I told him I would think about it. When I went home my nephew, who studies mechanical engineering, look at it and said it was not transmission oil, but engine oil. I, then, did some research online and compared the oil that was on my garage floor to the engine oil and the transmission oil, (smell, color) and realized it was leaking engine oil. I called Mr. Dominguez again, and he told me to bring the car back to the shop. He supposedly fixed the leak. After that, the car was not leaking as much, however, it was still leaking. When I checked the oil, it was very low. I called him again and told him the car was still leaking oil. He told me I would have to pay for the repairs. I told him I shouldn't have to because he provided a defective engine, and it was still under warranty. He said he was going to ask the guy who provided him the engine to see if he was willing to pay and the guy agreed to. I took it back, and once again he said it was fixed. When I picked up the car the engine oil was full, and I kept checking for a while and there were no leaks. We drove the car for about 1,300 miles and when I checked the oil,it was empty. I called Mr. Dominguez to tell him the car was burning engine oil. He then refused to fix it or even look at. He said something along the lines like, "The car is running and the warranty is not for life." The car started leaking oil again and it kept getting worse. At first I had to add a quart of oil every month or 1000 miles, and then it was almost every week or about 200 miles. We stopped driving the car on because I didn't feel it was safe for to drive it anymore. I learned that a car leaking/ burning oil can lead to serious issues including engine failure. According to him, the engine he put in the car had 50,000 to 60,000 miles, but he never put that in writing. Even though I asked for for a receipt or some kind of information on the engine, he never gave me any. I took the car in to become functional and it was returned defective, It requires constant observation and extra expenses for an issue it didn't have before taking it to the shop. Mr. Dominguez provided a warranty that he never intended to honor I ended up taking the car to the junkyard.
