My 5 year old mastiff Zita started experiencing symptoms of Pyometra at 8pm Saturday evening. I called every 24 hour emergency vet in a 2 hour drive range. After being told by 4 different emergency vets they were booked to capacity and could not see her I was told by the last place I talked to, to try Taylor Veterinary. When I called they were very caring in the situation I was dealing with they also told me they had several patients waiting but they would triage her as soon as we got there and if she was stable we would have a little bit of a wait but they would get her seen. She was seen by Dr. Cashman who I want to thank so much. She came in sat right on the floor with Zita and did her exam and explained that Zita was indeed suffering from pyometra and that her best chances for a recovery would be surgery. We opted for surgery. It was about 2am at this point and Dr Cushman assured she was going to get Zita right into surgery and would call me once she was done and awake before she went off shift. Dr. Cushman did everything she said she would as well as all the staff, the nurses caring for Zita after surgery and giving me updates means so much. I appreciate all of you who helped our Zita girl. She is now at home and is healing and doing great. Thank you Taylor Veterinary for the compassion and great care you provided for our family!

I went in today because my dog injured her leg. Dr. Smith and staff were great! Friendly, calm, efficient, and thorough.Although it did take a while to be seen, the staff were very good at giving me updates and explaining/setting the expectation that it would take some time because of the amount of patients, very solid customer service skills. I thought Dr. Smith was very thorough and efficient with her time, gave us options, explained, and gave us her recommendation without rushing me to give an answer.Very different than experiences at my previous clinic. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

worst place in the world, rude costumer service, worst doctors who knows where they studied cause clearly don’t know what to do in an emergency and also, lie straight to my face said my dog was going to be okay and she was going to survive and later one died made me pay full 5 day hospitalization js for her to die a day later 2k down the drain. had a friend with similar story don’t come here or you risk loosing your best friend. i wouldn’t even give it a star. -100

I'm currently sitting in their waiting room. STILL! I brought my pet in at 12:00pm today, December 27th, 2023.I was told three people were ahead of me. We waited. Then at 3:00pm we were told it would be about 2 hours more before our pet could be seen.At 5:10pm, the vet tech came out to the waiting room to let us know that it won't be until 7:00pm. MAYBE??!That the one doctor that was in all day, is doing hospital rounds, and the next doctor isn't going to see patients until 7:00pm.1.) they lied to us about the time frame, causing a delay where we could have left, to Pursue another option for vet care!2.) this is unethical and it's negligent in practice to delay the care of a pet. To the detriment of the patient. They don't have any legal detriment that falls on their shoulders, but, we do!Now, it's after 5pm this is the emergency time and prices go up and wait times will now be chosen based on what emergencies come in over our waiting. If my dog has to go one more day or night with this medical condition situation she's in, they are the ones who will be negligible. This place took the option out of my hands to make another arrangement for my pet a lot sooner. The receptionist when I had asked about all this, she raised her voice at me, and was saying the only doctor on duty is one that is one of their slowest workers on duty and she said "I'm sorry about that but that is just the way it is!"I asked her why she was raising her voice at me? I asked her if that is necessary.I told her I left reviews on facebook and I'm not done in giving reviews ie. Yelp, etc.. and she raised her voice saying "you can yelp us all you want!"While another vet tech stood behind the receptionist nodding her head, "yup!"So this place causes embarrassment for their customers/ clients. When you read the reviews please know, after reading many of them, what is written is absolutely whats happening here.Bought by a corporation and don't care about your pet or opinions. It's all about the $$.I told her (the same receptionist) that they gave us a time we would be seen, after waiting at 12:00 check in, by 3:00pm we were told we'd be seen at 5:00pm.Broken verbal contact agreement (I signed the forms, I had sat down with my pet to be seen, I had an expectation to be seen, this is indeed a contract between myself and the veterinary clinic. My pet has the detriment due to Taylor Veterinary's breach of the verbal agreement, in the stated expectation when we would be seen (5:00pm),To now possibly being seen during the emergency services after hours it ran into, the doctor wouldn't start seeing patients until 7:00pm.Unacceptable in more ways than one.A little Tip here, The receptionist out front with us, shouldn't tell me or others in the waiting room, who can hear her. that "unfortunately the only doctor they have on staff today is one that works the slowest, it's all they got" and "that's just the way it is."Doesn't this fact, standing alone, on its face, in and of itself, create a whole lot of confidence we should all expect when coming here? Caveat emptor, for vet care.9:18 pmNo word whatsoever about my dogStill waiting………

Took my dog there in morn got charged emergency prices they quoted me 8000 knocked down to 5600 I gave them 70 percent up front like they wanted turned out to only be 2400 and it’s been a month and a bunch of run around to get my refund of almost 1000 dollars. That’s no way to run a business and the care was ok the front staff are nice or fake it well

I highly recommend going somewhere else if you can, at first this place was wonderful but sadly it seems the good veterinarians left. With appointments they will have you waiting up to two hours past yours to still be seen. Also they lie about filling prescriptions if your using a service like chewy or 1-800 pet meds, and they do not return your calls.

I took my fur baby Drake in today he had a horrible allergic reaction to fleas they were so nice and helpful loved the Vet and staff they made me feel so relieved because I’ve had horrible experiences with vets in the past who don’t care they just want your money! but this Vet Leslie was amazing! I recommend anyone to bring their fur baby here you won’t be disappointed they are loving and gentle this is how every Vet Clinic should be! My wife took our sick dog to Taylor Veterinary at 4:30 PM. She was told to wait in her car, and was informed that there was one dog ahead of her. She waited in the car for 4 hours, and got back home at 1:00AM. (one hour drive) Completely understaffed, and odd doctor. Records were supposed to be transferred to our local vet today. Records were never sent, had to call back today and request for that to happen.

Taylor veterinary emergency is unprofessional and uncaring. I called before I brought my dog in. The receptionist said I would have to “wait a bit”. Fine. Drove 40 minutes because they have always given our dogs great care. Got there with a dog with two bleeding wounds. I was by myself and trying to keep her from bleeding on the furniture. The receptionists brings me a clip board asking that asks me pointless question because everything being asked is already on record with them. But she can’t be bothered to look up that information. So I fill out the form while she and the other receptionist talk about their favorite Starbucks drinks and music taste. I have to bring the clip board back to her because she obviously couldn’t be bothered to come get it from me. After waiting an hour I ask if I was at least next (at this point I had been waiting the longest and very annoyed). A couple minutes pass by and then someone finally comes up to tell me that it’s will be at least another 30 min until the next vet gets in. I don’t understand how an emergency vet building that doesn’t allow appoints had two vets there. One in surgery the other had made appointments with other dogs. So no vet was available. This is a scheduling error that shows a huge lack of caring on their part. I’m livid. I ask to speak to the manager. I can’t believe my dog has to suffer further because of this administration problem. She tells me very coldly that my dog is not important enough to stop what the other vets are doing to see me. When I asked for compensation for this inconvenience she state that this is prosecute there is nothing she can do for me. She at least had the decency to ask if my dog needed anything. I then waited another 30 minutes giving a total of 2 hours and finally got taken back. The new vet that just came on shift gave me an estimate said it wasn’t too bad of a wound. Ok great except for $105 automatic fee for same day emergency. At an animal emergency hospital that doesn’t allow appointments. Needless to say I’m never going back.

I would give them a ZERO review if possible. my pug 6 yrs old Bronx had a heart problem and they promptly took him back because he was vomiting lung fluid... I thought "hey these people really care" but immediately, I felt like a walking atm machine with their main focus on every dollar. I get it! no business can operate with free services, but before I could get medical info, I had another fee to pay.. end of the day Bronx died..which they charged an arm and a leg for... I walked in with a sick dog and left with a 2,000 bill... ok let's move on....sooo.. I open my heart and get a baby Bassett. I live in Patterson, Where Jay Brooks is from. Baby Tivy has a reaction to vaccinations from our local vet, not their fault, and I call Taylor to ask.. hey what do you think?? can i wait till 8 for my vets office to open?... we got our 1st shots today... she's vomiting, diarrhea and sooo lethargic. the receptionist let me tell the whole story (about 3 mins) and all I get is.... I can't tell you over the phone but our fee is........ " what is there HIPPA FOR DOGS NOW" or no compassion for a worried pet owner? Sorry for language, but fuck this place. I'm a big girl.. I have a pet I love completely.. I'm willing to pay whatever necessary... but since Jay is gone, this company has become WAY WAY LESS THAN. shame shame.. I will never go back or ever refer a friend... hope all you animal lovers, who became a vet because it's your passion can go back to the basics....Not Sincere,Kim Ramos Patterson , Ca

Was traveling from WASHINGTON and my Doberman got extremely sick and they were able to get us in. We waited about 5 hours, I did not mind the wait only that we were charged as an emergency , but i felt it wasn’t seen as emergency. More of a same day appointment. I will say a Dr. Did come out and ask if we had been seen and once we told her no, she had us go in immediately. (After 5 hours of waiting). Either way I’m extremely thankful
