Besides the mobile app and racking up points to get free gas... The other good thing about this spot is the cool things inside the gas station.
They have tons of things, and if for some odd reason your still up in the middle of the night when things are closed down 80% of the time they have what your looking for.

“Listen. It's a liquor store in 29 palms at the mouth of a military base. There weren't any crazy people outside or intoxicated humans stumbling around in the parking lot. The staff was friendly. The store was clean and they had a decent selection of wine, especially for the middle of nowhere. You're not gonna find anything organic here, but it drinks and helps you get your buzz on. Loads of late night and road trip snacks full of hydrogenated oils and added sugars but that's what this place is. It's fine, stop and get yourself a 40 and enjoy.”
“I ordered this cake from the Stater Bros bakery and it completely exceeded my expectations. The heart-shaped design was absolutely beautiful, with perfectly piped buttercream roses in soft pinks and greens that looked elegant and professional. The details were stunning, and the cake looked even better than I imagined. Not only was it gorgeous, but it tasted amazing too! You can really tell the bakery puts care into both presentation and flavor. It made the birthday celebration feel extra special.

“Camping fuel selection and other camping supplies sold here! Absolute life saver if you run out of something in Joshua Tree National park. They even had some basic sleeping bags. So lucky we found this place in a pinch when we ran out of camp gas (butane/propane jet boil mix).”

When I had to go to the MARINE BACE 29 PALMS to deliver stuff always stopped at Youngs on the way back to the yard most of the time the sandwich was so good it didn't make it to the 10 fwy! A lot of the time I would have to get 2 just to bring back home to the family the sandwiches are that good!!!!”
