Rasta Rita Cantina is fantastic. The venue is gorgeous. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The food was great… and the margaritas were delicious. The owners worked with me to plan an event that fit my budget. Highly recommend. Will be using this venue for all future parties.

Wonderful place with the amazing owner Mario and he very friendly just like all of this staff! He was able to accommodate our whole party. The service, the food and the atmosphere are outstanding. Cannot wait to come back and do an event all over again!

The venue was a very cute location. With two nice areas - so you could have ceremony, then move to food, while the ceremony area changes to dance floor. The problem was the understaffing and the owner of the venue. We were setting up and he was walking around with no shirt on, it short tennis shorts being very loud. The location is one you DO NOT want to use in warmer months. It was May and so hot, there was no AC in the bar area, so no place to cool off, the charcuterie board melted in the heat (it was indoors)I suggest you take out wedding insurance too if you plan to deal with this venue. The cute rustic look (which did lend to a beautiful wedding) isn't worth the drama of dealing with the owner.

The owners of this venue are a nightmare to deal with. The alcohol served was cut with water all night. The venue has no AC and gets extremely hot in the summer months. The venue was under staffed so family and friends had to help set up the wedding. Do you and your loved ones a favor and RUN, don’t walk, the other way from this company and never look back.In posting this I am fully expecting a confrontational and/or snarky reply from the owners, just check out some of the other 1 star reviews and the childish responses to them. But if you’re seriously looking at this venue for your wedding, please take pause and listen to the other one star reviews. There are many other cute cantina venues for your special day.

This is one, absolutely, wonderful place. My wife and I had our wedding here...Let me tell ya. It was magical. The owners are exceedingly nice and helpful. Setup day of...there was plenty of time and the onsite staff was beyond helpful, I mean above and beyond. The bartenders were stellar, we had such a blast at the bar. They were so absolutely lovely and jovial. The venue is so gorgeous. I mean it really is the perfect desert oasis. It is well lit and well setup up. It's cozy and warm and just simply wonderful. We elected for the tacos and they were freakin awesome. They also did my favorite with grilled onions and peppers. I loved getting married there. We had a native/western ceremony and it was the perfect fit. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place. I highly recommend!!!!!!

What a surprise! We attended a wedding at this venue and discovered a jewel in the desert.Speaking from decades of experience in producing events, not to mention attending countless family and professional functions. Rasta Rita is a delight. The logistical layout is well thought out and a wonderful use of their space. There is a open, relaxed atmosphere that emanates from the interior that is not obviously from the exterior. Again, well thought out.The staff is spot on. Professional, helpful and friendly all while keeping things on point & moving through the various stages of the event with adaptability and pleasant positive energy.Well done!

Please do not consider this place for hosting your special event. Might have good food but not good service. It will not be a pleasant time dealing with the owners.

A beautiful wedding day ceremony and reception. My oldest son and his beautiful bride had a Native American ceremony with their own vows and it was just stunning and beautiful. The venue was perfect. All you could eat tacos and fixings and three kinds of margaritas. Dancing all night and the night sky without wind was beautiful. The outside courtyard made you feel like you were somewhere else entirely. Nice touch on the fire pits for plenty of guests for the cool night in November. The indoors at the bar was clean and the bartender was wonderful. Plenty of room to sit and visit and drink and eat wedding cake in this upscale cantina area.

A lot of bad reviews have gotten removed from their Google/Yelp pages, first off. I'm not sure how, but I think something to do with the intimidation and scare tactics myself and my wife went through dealing with this venue owner (Mario). Experience included very watery drinks, one of my guests literally watched the bartender give the tequila bottle a "shake" to re-mix it up before pouring a shot. Also having my wedding coordinator yelled at to get us out of there even though we were well within our documented rental timeline, having our deposit stolen, Mario changing his story several times as to why this was, contract line items being ignored, then him saying we were all settled and there was no more money to be exchanged, (because he had it all) and then getting a random amount of $5,850.00 collection letter from Mario with no explanation of what it was for (what it seemingly was really for was retaliation after my wife left a few reviews of our honest experience) and that he'd be filing suit if we didn't pay up. The venue itself is very nice, but based on our experience I would strongly advise staying away from this venue, its owners, and their affiliated businesses.

I came here for an event many months ago. The venue was okay, it looked better in pictures. The margaritas had hardly any alcohol in them. The owner is difficult to get ahold of and they did not uphold their agreements that were in the contract. I wouldn't advise anyone having their event or wedding at this location because the owners add more stress to an already a high stress event and they are not nice.
