Camp Sacramento

Camp Sacramento is a fun place with activities every day and no time to be bored, separated into age groups. It is a great escape from the city, offering a camping experience similar to Yosemite without the long drive. Guests can enjoy archery, hiking, tie-dyeing, and s'mores making. The main lodge has a pool table, air hockey table, and a foosball table, plus lots of books. Outside are playgrounds, a basketball court, and a volleyball court. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is very good. The living quarters in the small cabins are pretty decent, clean, and comfy, though some are a bit worn down. There are communal bathrooms with showers and hot water. Some cabins are adjacent to a nearby creek, providing nice relaxing water sounds and the sounds of nature at night. After being closed for improvements, including a new septic system, it is a beautiful place and worth the price for a weekend stay.
