“Super clean, comfy room, very very quiet even though it's near to the road. Front desk was relaxed and welcoming. Breakfast was OK. Great selection of restaurants which delivered nearby and they were surprisingly quick and food was great. Definitely an all round great place to stay.”

“Stayed overnight for NYE, on the way to see my boyfriend for New Year's Day. It's my second time staying here and it was such a comfortable stay and very quiet which I liked. They decorated for the holidays! The staff provided such good hospitality, very friendly. Comfort Inn has free parking, free wifi, and free breakfast. Also, the damage fee hold of $10.00 is so reasonable compared to other hotels that charge around $75+.I don't think the hotel was completely booked up because I had the option to choose to stay on the 1st or 2nd level. The king suite was perfect! Very clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep on. This time around I noticed the tv monitor is rotational in the room. This is one of the few hotels that have so many channels to choose from, and I was able to watch the NYE countdown til midnight. Also, the shows/movies actually align with what's said on the tv guide. I missed out on the breakfast unfortunately, but it smelled really good. Checking out was a breeze, and I appreciate the workers who helped me out.”

“Quiet, clean, and centrally located. Some of the modestly priced motels had sketchy people hanging around, so I preferred their on-site management (family). Another bonus: in a small town, Ukiah Brewing Company is a short walk away and offers a diverse menu.”

“I've been here for since previous management they didnt clean rooms they were aggressive and would not do anything for you. The new management is awesome, it's like night and day the rooms are cleaned daily and the managment actually cares for their customers. They're extremely respectful and are working on making the rooms better and better. Upgrading wifi and wiring they are making this place of business very good for its price range. The people who stay in the hotel are all friendly and down to earth very rarely is there any drama. In terms of quality ,price, and your Neighbors it's the best in ukiah I'd highly suggest it”

“Needed a place for the night after a long day on the road. This Surestay was right where I needed it to be on my journey.Friendly front desk staff, checkin was painless only took a few minutes and I was on my way to my room for the evening. Lower level king room towards the end of the building. The hotel is very convenient to the 101 both directions, and only a few blocks from a multitude of restaurants and shops, gas stations, and supplies. Quiet and a decent nights stay, the room spacious and warm on a cold night, and the bed very comfortable. A large space with sparce furniture, and minimal amenities but a good hot shower and served its purpose, it was decent for my overnight. “I am in love with this place. It is the best motel ever. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. I like this place cause first it has good customer service the lobby smelled and look good the rooms were clean and it came with refrigerator a microwave and a bunch of other cool stuff. There was great food and free breakfast. There was a sushi place right in that area and a lot of stores and activities there. Would definitely recommend 10 out of ten actually you know what it broke the scale best hotel ever!!!!! ( go right now lol)”

“Checked in late looking to get some rest for a long day of driving the next morning. Place looked fine from the outside.Once in my room I noticed lots of stains and general lack of cleanliness, mostly used roll of tp, but it’s a cheap hotel so whatever I don’t mind much. As I got into bed, I lifted a pillow to find some kind of bug under the pillow. It was just one bug not a huge deal, but still gross. Killed it and moved on.Got in late so I was happy about the 11 check out time to get some good sleep in, was woken up at 8:05 to a loud, room rattling sound. They were doing roofing work on the roof of my room which they did not disclose when I had checked in. I was unable to sleep more as my room vibrated from tools and the hammering sounds. Attempted to rest until just before checkout to try to make up for lost sleep, housekeeping banged on my door before checkout and called my room phone before check out time rushing me out of my room.Asked to speak to a manager while checking out and was told no manager was available. I asked for a refund and the front desk clerk made a call which summoned the manager he had just told me was not there. He told me the roofing started at 9 which was a lie, ignored my bug complaint and rudely offered to refund “2 hours” of my stay. Super dismissive and rude throughout. Will place a chargeback with my CC and never step foot here again.Do not stay here if you have an option.”

“Beat my expectations, given the ultra low price I paid for this room. Hotel is environmentally friendly: no throw-away plastic bottles (probably available upon request), the heater/air conditioner was not on by default, I can appreciate all that. Room is clean, nearly everything (flooring, sink and counter, etc) had been recently replaced. Looks like they recently remodeled the whole place. Breakfast only had waffles, toast and cereal: no eggs and bacon, but for this low a price, I wouldn't expect anything more anyway. Professional service, no complaints here. Thanks!!”

“Decient rooms, but no matter how much you spend the hotel staff will treat you like a squatter who needs to be thrown out and have the cops called, and not in that order.If your employess cannot handle conflict or at least not bringing their own emotions to the job site,Well then i would have given better review.After spending 2,000 dollars on room and board and too find out the last minute that i could have used that money on thier monthly rates in the other building.Rude way to take my money and never be offered anything else.Waking up forgetting what day it is, answering the door to a man in plain clothes without any sign he is an employee. Having him say they were tired of having to deal with us and it was becoming a burden.I said burden how? Maybe if you have phones in all rooms maybe you could call me next time, since you tell us to pay and then we pay? Our responsibility to pay or their responsibility to let us know it was time to pay or leave..Instead of fixing problem he calls cops. Didn't ask us to leave, didn't try to work anything out Or get a manager. Now I have stay away orders from both ukiah locations?How many times have I heard people in distress being removed from this establishment in similar situations as like they were trash.Now facing being homeless the rest of month because this guy wants to ban me from the location I would have been able to afford. He doesn't even work there, he has no right when he has been only person having a problem. Ignorant . I'm not letting this go.Noteworthy details: Staff are rude with very few exceptions.”

“We will stay again! Awesome price for a clean and comfortable room! Have tried other low cost hotel rooms around Ukiah and left them immediately, even losing money in the process, to return to The Ecomny Inn. Nice rooms, nice bathrooms, clean, comfy and a very friendly staff!! Will return!”
