Kohl's is about the only place left to shop in our small town which is very sad. I appreciate them fixing the inside of the store and making it look a lot neater and cleaner. However, instead of being greeted by the friendly Associates, I am greeted by the overwhelming scents of perfumes and sprays. As a person like me who is highly allergic to scents, I have to wear a mask and keep my hand over my nose and mouth so I don't ingest the smell and end up in anaphylactic shock on their floor. I thought Sephora was going to be behind closed doors. The smell is so obnoxious, I did not enjoy my shopping experience at all. Kohls didn't even have what I needed anyway. I quickly left and spared myself spending money. Kohl's Corporation needs to do something about that smell, because I'm not the only one in the world allergic to scents.

Kohl's in Ukiah has their national brand of Sonoma Goods for Life that are perfect for me.
However, the carpet in Mens Dept had a stinky moldy smell. ( Leaky roof maybe ?)
I've delivered to donzens of Kohl's stores from their distribution center out in Patterson (see pic as proof) & the Ukiah location is OK, but stinky.

I am a middle aged woman looking for a new foundation. The first sales associate tried to help but did not ask enough questions to understand my skin needs. Subsequently I therefore purchased the wrong type of foundation for my skin. When I went to exchange it, I was met with a young sales person who didn't really seem that interested in helping me sort it all out. I was hoping for a exchange and to purchased a few other items. I instead returned my item, came home and ordered it on the internet. I would've rather purchased it locally but by someone who wanted to help me choose which items were best for me. This location needs to work on customer service.
