Worst company around. No clue how to provide customer service or support. I was sent to collections because of their neglect and even after I called and tried to negotiate with them directly. They would rather send a long standing customer to collections than give a reasonable timeline to pay back bills that that they threw at once after their own billing errors. It left my kids without internet during remote learning. Terrible company and the employees are just as terrible as the owner. I talked to him too. Our community is better off without this company. Xfinity (comcast) has since provided way better service, support and reasonable pricing.

This is the worst internet I have ever used. The wifi cuts out frequently throughout the day and even when it does work, it isn't that fast.

We are a small business who have used Pacific Internet for the last 3 years. Our internet has been spotty but worked until now, our internet has completely quit working, so we can not process credit cards or run our business. I just spoke with Bow on the phone, he was smug and I found him very rude , and he didn't care to solve our issues in a timely manner and he wanted us to wait 5 days before he would send out a technician. I asked to speak with a manager and he told me Mike Ireton is the owner but never speaks with customers. I stressed to him the importance of due to the fact we are a small business that cannot operate. After stressing to him how unhappy I was with the customer service experience he hung up on me. I will be switching providers as soon as possible.

Being a tech luddite, support always takes the time to help explain things is good detail for me.

I have had email and internet service through pacific internet since 2000. Since the business changed hands, I have had nothing but issues. Internet service crashing for days at a time, billing down with no explanation, then billed for two months service. Now, I cancel my internet service at the house I am selling and my email address is cancelled. This is a work related email and interruptions in service are very bad for business. Find a better provider, their customer service is snide and weak.

Call to get my Internet and phone line to just Internet. Wanted a ballpark when it would be done. They said before the end of the year. I think that's very poor customer service.

I've been a customer for 26 years. Jim Persky ran an honest and helpful company, locally provided and maintained. I dealt with them through lots of technology changes, and always felt their people were friends - support techs used their real names. The new ownership has abandoned that local and personal vision. Services are spread all over N.CA, and subcontracted to other providers. Personnel are anonymous. My hosted web site has been inaccessible for two weeks now, and they can't give me any clue when it might be fixed - despite my having shown then exactly which router down in Fremont, CA is the problem. I feel sorry for them, they are obviously overwhelmed, but a blanket statement, unchanged for weeks, "We are working to recover the downed services as quickly as possible" does not help much. To add injury to insult, this week they hit my credit card for over seven times my monthly bill! They have no idea why, say they'll refund it someday. If losing my primary eMail address wasn't such a hassle, I'd be gone!

poster below pretty much says it all: "This company bought out our previous provider, and it's been nothing but technical issues and extra fees ever since." outrageous, too frequent price raises and inferior service. latest increase dropped with less than 30 days notice, which i don't believe is illegal but it's certainly rude as hell. honestly, pacific internet wasn't all that much better before they changed hands, but now it's even worse. not sure what their deal is.

Amending this review as I've at least learned more about *why* things are so bad there. The business was sold and new owners may not have understood the level of customer care that Pacific provided...then they had a huge system failure and did not do a good job making things right afterward. Had they introduced themselves and kept people informed I think the good will would have carried forward, but the only person I spoke to about my change in service is currently with Pacific and looking to bail based on all of the above. Still one star, but maybe they will get a clue before too long and do better.
