I recently purchased a washing machine and pedestal at the Best Buy in Union City. The pedestal was on back order and would arrive in 2 weeks. I scheduled the delivery and when the delivery men showed up they attempted to drop the pedestal and leave without installing it. I threatened to send back the pedestal and they reluctantly agreed on the install. They asked for brackets and none were provided so I made them take the pedestal with them. I attempted to call the Union City location and found out there are no numbers to the specific location and you have to go through the 800 number where the call centers are in India or Philippines. I drove to the store and spoke to the manager, Andre, who said he would rectify the situation and get back to me. He did not. I called him and he said he was busy and would call me in a few days. He did not. I contacted corporate and they're offer was so miniscule that I turned them down. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy again. Best Buy doesn't care about their customers. This was blatantly obvious this past month. DO NOT buy from Best Buy if you can't carry the item out with you. If you have a problem with an appliance they are not willing to help you. Walk across the parking lot to Lowe's. They carry the same items and you can call the location and talk to an employee.

Today, I visited Best Buy to purchase a new TV. Kenneth, who provided exceptional customer service, was patient and helped me select the right TV. I am truly grateful for employees like him. However, I found the behavior of his manager, Ha Xua (not sure about the correct name), to be unprofessional. While I was waiting at the cashier to pay for my new TV, the manager was discussing Kenneth's performance in front of me. As a customer, this made me uncomfortable and I believe it was not appropriate for a manager or supervisor to discuss an employee's performance in front of customers. Regardless of what the manager had to say, Kenneth was very helpful, patient, and provided great customer service, as I mentioned before. I hope this feedback is helpful for the improvement of the store's customer service practices.

I am not sure about their appliance department as I have yet to purchase an appliance from Best Buy, but they have been my go-to for every electronics need. I have purchased all my laptops, headphones, and game consoles from this location and have never had a problem. I used Geek Squad once for my old laptop, but got the issue fixed within 2-3 business days as they had to work on it for a bit. Issue was fixed after that. Best Buy is just great!

Damian!!! Thank you so much for the great experience in purchasing a tv. Damian is 1000% the go to guy when it comes to tvs. So smart and knowledgable and honest! We went in there thinking we wanted a Samsung but left with a LG!!! It was the Presidents' Day sale so we got a good deal!

The store boasts an extensive collection, but unfortunately, the staff were not helpful. Despite traveling over 30 minutes to the store due to the absence of a Best Buy in Fremont, my experience was marred by unresponsive staff. Specifically, the TV I intended to inspect was on display but not functioning. When I sought assistance from the front desk, I was directed to wait in the TV department, where no one attended to me for over 15 minutes. After approaching an employee in the mobile department, I was asked to wait further, leading to my decision to only purchase a PS5 and leave without the TV. This disappointing encounter has led me to reconsider future purchases at this store. Increased staffing may be necessary to improve the customer experience. While I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for years, this particular visit stands out as the most unsatisfactory.

ssd bootdrive 19.99 240 gb WD I would recommend that you would order for pickup otherwise have fun trying to find an associate to assist you with an item that locked. It's not that the workers are not helpful, it's that there just one person for the electronics floor. That's unreasonable to have just one person running around helping as much as they can.

Cancelled order by “mistake”. I talked to 3 different people and 3 on the phone as well and no one was able to get me either my product after they canceled my order or my money back soon and not it will take 10-15 business days to get my money back.Officially worst store to buy expensive equipment.
