Hello Fellow Bank Customers. I went to this Citibank location in Union City Ca and was greeted by Jatinder K at the customer service window, the transaction was beyond what I expected not only did Jatinder help with my currency request (new currency) for gift cards Jatinder also mentioned the current CD rates which changed since February so I set up a appointment for a bank representative to lock me in to a better CD rate which means better returns on my Deposit. Terrible Bank!I opened a checking account in March 2023. I need this account to receive my salary. Checks are received within 5 working days. It is too long. When I signed up for direct deposit, the support team told me to wait 3 business days. As a result, I did not receive a salary, my account was blocked for unknown reasons without any notification. It is impossible to reach the hotline. And when you call, there is no help. They ask for other phone numbers to send a password for verification. As a result, all the phone numbers I provided do not suit them. They said that they would send the password by mail in paper format within 5-7 days. I didn't receive anything for 2 weeks. The office staff couldn't help me. Employees themselves call the hotline and everything is the same. As a result, I was not notified of the reasons for the blocking. I did not receive a salary. I was told that my account would be closed for unknown reasons and the check would be mailed within 60 days! 60 days without payment. I'm shocked. I will find out this situation and contact the various services with a complaint! I'm from Ukraine. Just got a job. I do not receive any assistance from the state. This is my first paycheck. How is that possible!

Had an issue with teller and had to escalate to branch manager.Branch manager is named Nilofar and was unwilling to help, and had a very bad attitude.Fire these people and do not bank here!!!

Terrible service. Me and my husband went last Friday, a Chines lady around 30-40 years old came to help. Not professional at all, we spent about 15 minutes with her and she can not solve our problem then transferred us to another person. My husband spent another 40 minutes with her and still can not solve the problem. Do not recommend this branch at all.

This pandemic really has changed the way people carry themselves. As I approached the door, the door was locked before me. Then the banker quickly asked, are you tested positive for covid-19? Speechless. In addition, my statements does not show my full credit card number online so it made it impossible for me to payoff a balance I had. You can't look up my information for a payment, really? To top it off, I understand the six feet rule. But the way you separate yourself from people seems like you're disgusted. If you're mentality is treating everyone as if they have a virus, then maybe you should just stay home and not worry about the public. Reality check, have a signage in place to look more professional. Plus an average person probably doesn't even know they have the virus even if you ask them.

I wanted to open an account and walked into this branch around 1pm today. The branch closes at 2. I thought i had plenty of time and there was one lady before me to meet a banker. Around 1:15 a banker comes and withoout even asking why we were here, told us, that there were only 2 bankers and they can't help us today. Absolutely horrible customer service. She also said, she can set up appointments for us... big deal!!. Since i had a large deposit to make, I didn't waste time arguing with her and headed to the Mowry branch, about 5 miles away. Wells fargo and chase have absolutely wonderful customer service. I don't think citibank really cares about losing business. If any citibank manager contacts me, i am willing to answer their questions. This is an absolutely honest review. Check out my Mowry branch review next.

Went to pay my cc bill. They don't accept cash payments. You have to use the ATM. But i don't have a pin for my cc. They couldn't help me get one. Regardless of my Identification or the bill in my hand, the tellers were unable to provide ANY service to me whatsoever. The automated phone system is sending me a pin within 7-10 days. At that point my payment will be late. So now i have to go to the bank to put cash in, in order to pay via the app. This branch is absolutely effing useless.
