This place is a solid option if you're looking for a smog check in the Union City area. A smog check is a smog check, so my choice usually comes down to price. By mentioning that you visited its website, you get $20 off normal pricing, making the STAR smog check a great value at $58 out the door. As an added perk, a re-test is no additional cost if you fail, which other places charge extra for. If there's a chance your car will fail, that's a nice benefit to have. Andrew completed the work quickly and my car passed, so I'll call it a win.

Didn't have an appointment, so I called and spoke to Andrew about dropping in for a smog check. Was able to swing by in less than an hour after the call. Extremely friendly and quick service. Will definitely be back with other vehicles in the family.

This has to be one of the best smog shops in the bay as I come in for a smog check. Andrew was quick and communicative and a friendly dude that loves cars. So if you need to get your car smog, go to this shop. This will be my one-stop shop and I highly recommended it. Thanks, Andrew!
