“Syed at Trophy Towne was the MVP of our team's end of year dinner banquet last week. I'm the owner and director of Brooks Debate Institute in Fremont, CA. I coach 100+ students, mostly local middle schoolers from Hopkins Jr. High, and every year our team ends the season with a team dinner evening at Dave & Busters. This year I wanted to give out some some end of the year awards and honors and was originally planning to just print certificates. The morning of our event I decided to see if I could get some nice plaques and medals same day and found Trophy Towne on Yelp just down the road.
I showed up to their office just after 11am and asked if it was possible to get custom award plaques and 7 medals made by 7:30pm-- that I hadn't even designed yet. Syed said he could do it and somehow performed a miracle for us. I went home, downed a Red Bull, and designed all 22 plaques and 7 medals. I sent the very last image files over to him at 4pm. All 29 of our awards were ready to pickup just 3hrs later. And my students were really, really, really happy.
