“They have auto paint materials. Very old school shop. At the time of this review they were short staffed and closed for lunch. Probably best to call before hand if you're going around lunch time. Staff was nice though.”

“I had a very specific color of dark blue I needed to touch up some walls that had been painted 2 years ago. It didn't make sense to paint the entire walls when there were only about 10 small touch ups needed. I didn't remember the actual color and I only had a very small piece I had managed to cut from the edge of an electrical outlet. The place where I originally bought the paint (Lowe's) tried several times to match the color without success and finally suggested I go to a specialty paint store. I decided to try Moyer's Paint Company at 351 Llewelling in San Lorenzo. Enrique and his son, Sebastian, were in the store which was very clean and neat. Enrique has 30 years experience working with paint. He promised he'd get it right. It took 4 adjustments to the original mix he tried. Each time he'd paint a bit of my little chip and dry it to see if it was a match. After the 4th adjustment he was satisfied he'd gotten it right. And he was correct! The color matched perfectly! I was so impressed that I went back to the store a week later to thank Enrique. In addition to excellent personal service and a well-organized store, they have a roomy parking lot making them a very convenient choice.”

Now I'm updating an apartment between tenants and it needs the works: fresh paint, but also new flooring, lights/fans, cabinets and a new bathroom - so there's a lot to coordinate and time is always a factor.On my last two visits, Cliff has helped me narrow down millions of shades of taupe to just three in record time (15 minutes!) - any of which would perfectly complement the new living room carpet. I picked the lightest of the three and once it was on the walls it picked up the lighter tones in the carpet, making it pop. Even my painter commented it was a great pairing. I could never have gotten there without Cliff's dead-on color sense. I think he said he was an art major so color is his thing. All I know is he's my ace in the hole. Who needs to pay a designer hundreds of dollars when you've got Cliff's nose for tones? You're the bomb Cliff, thanks so much! I'll be seeing you for my next project.”
