The store layout is well-planned and easy to navigate. It offers practical services like Order Ahead pick-up, Grocery Delivery, and DriveUp & Go™. The location is across from the Union City BART station and has ample parking in a four-corner shopping center with other stores nearby. While generally safe during morning and afternoon hours, some caution is advised at night. However, several reviews note a significant decline in customer service, with staff sometimes perceived as uncaring, which has disappointed some long-time customers.

5 Star Excellent location with thousands of food options of every kind, with daily & weekly sales. The best Safeway store in Union City & surrounding areas I've shopped them all..I shop here at least 3-5 times a week. Service & Staff are exemplary.
