Aaron did an amazing job installing a front and rear dash cam in our son's (a new driver) Mazda CX-5. The installation is very professional and you can tell that he cares about the job he does. He even took at least 15-20 minutes at the end of the install to help my son get the app on his phone and understand how to use all the features. Excellent customer service. I got a quick response. Got a scheduled appointment instead of just going in. This allows for concentration on each customer's installation. Great workmanship. I got the basics of using the dashcam before I left. We went through all the work that was done. Highly recommend AceDashcam.

100% recommend, Aaron is extremely skilled and did an excellent job taking off the panels, hiding the wires (and avoiding the air bags), and setting everything up. We drove from about an hour away and it was well worth it. He even took time to walk us through set up, how to use it, and answered all our questions. We were nervous to let someone break apart our new car but he is the utmost professional and very good at what he does. About $460 for dashcam + installation on a Mazda SUV.

I had a great experience with Ace Dashcam! Communication with Aaron was easy and he was very responsive to messages. We were able to set up an appointment via email with no issues. I already had a dashcam and hardwire kit. He set it up quickly and accurately. It's been a few months now and I have no issues! Aaron is super detail oriented and neat. You can't tell that he had to move anything around to wire the dashcam. He is professional, kind, and efficient. Highly recommend!!

I called this morning to get a quote as this company was rated very high and highly recommended by a friend. Owner (Aaron) was extremely communicative from the beginning to end. His quote was in detail and responded quickly. He was very thorough in explaining and comparing the 2 brands that he recommends. Ultimately I decided on going with the Thinkware U3000. His original available appt was in about 6 days but when I explained that I was going on a trip this weekend he quickly made availability for me same day! Crazy huh?!?! Customer service was out of this world. Install took exactly 3 hours just like he said and when I picked up my truck he went over all the instructions on how to use the dash cam and even paired everything with me. Overall it was the perfect experience and I will definitely be referring all of my friends and family to Ace Dashcam. Aaron keep up the great service!!!

Got back to me after calling to have a Vantrue installed and set up an appointment ASAP. Recommended a cable that was needed for the parking mode so I had it the day of. Goes over where to put the front camera with you and afterwards lets you know where the wires were run through. I wasn’t aware the micro SD card wasn’t included in the dash cam I ordered so was recommended some and told which to avoid.

I contacted them around three weeks ago looking to having dashcams installed in two cars. Although I had my heart set on Blackvue, upon his recommendation, we went with the Thinkware system, 4k front and 2k rear. We scheduled the cars on a Saturday; we were driving up from Orange County and just made sense to make one trip and spend half the day in Upland. We dropped off the first car at 9 AM and the second car, because he has to have lunch, was done by 3 PM. He spent the time to explain how to use the system and showed us, in extreme detail and patience, how everything operates. I even contacted him the very next day asking a questions and his response was quick.
We highly recommend contacting Ace Dashcam if you are considering a dashcam install. The work was clean very little intrusion of one's vision out of the front windshield. Thank you for a great install experience. We now have peace of mind when driving and parking our car.

Installed a blackvue 2ch with a battery pack. Aaron was very responsive and did a great job installing the system and hiding the wires. He’s the best around with specialized knowledge for blackvues and electrical systems and will treat your car with utmost care !

Thank you Aaron for getting me in so quickly, doing a clean and thorough install, and for taking the time to fully explain and walkthrough the camera’s functions and how to use it. Having the camera has given me a lot of peace of mind and I am glad it’s there in case I ever need to use it!
I read the reviews beforehand about there being no lobby to wait in. So I ended up getting a Lyft to Lazy Dog and hung out there to eat dinner and watch the Dodgers game, and kept in touch with Aaron on progress of the install. It was the best way for me to kill 2.5 hours.

If you want a proper and well-done dash cam installation, then AceDashCam is it. I was able to experience in person why Aaron's business has a 5 star rating. He is communicative, responsive, does great work, and he explains what he did very, very well. I drove about one hour (one way), and it was definitely worth it!
After browsing reddit and seeing a handful of dash cam videos, I figured it would be good to protect myself by installing a dash cam (front and back) for my car. Originally, I had planned to install the dash cams myself. However, I realized that I would prefer to have it properly done because I didn't trust myself to conceal the wires but also not accidentally interfere with the airbags just in case they were to ever deploy.
After doing a search on reddit and Yelp, AceDashCam seemed to have consistently positive feedback. Of course, one always has to be a healthy skeptic in terms of discerning whether or not a business is worth its rating in gold. Still, the reviews seemed to mention specific reasons why the business was good, so I decided to inquire via Yelp to ask for a quote and availability.
I had already purchased a dash cam on Amazon (VIOFO A229Pro, since it seemed to be highly recommended on reddit), so I was just looking for Aaron to install the dash cam. He also offers two models of dash cam for purchase (which I thought were reasonably priced). Because I already had the dash cam, I ask Aaron for a quote. After providing additional information (e.g., year/make/model of car; type of car - sedan, hatchback, SUV, etc.; any hardwiring necessary for parking mode, etc.), he provided me with a quote and mentioned that he would be available at my requested day/time if I was still interested. He also mentioned that since I wanted the dash cam hardwired for parking mode (i.e., for the camera to continue operating while parked), I would need to purchase a hardwire kit. He was kind enough to link me to the Amazon product page for that.
I showed up, and he was there to greet me right on time. At first, I was not sure if I was in the right area. It is located in a sort of industrial park/area. However, the GPS directions were accurate (I used Google Maps) and there is a decal on the window of the business. I got there in the morning, and Aaron came out to greet me. After Aaron explained a few things, I let him go to work.
Aaron said the work would take three hours, and it did take just about three hours. When I returned to pick up my car, he explained everything thoroughly. He even mentioned that since my car is structured in a way that he did not have to use as much cabling as he originally thought, he did not charge me extra for an extra long cable to connect the rear cam. That kind of integrity and honesty is refreshing! He also explained a few quirks about my car as they relate to the dash cam, so those things were really good to know.
Can you find cheaper places to do the work? I'm sure you can, but I doubt they would do work that is as high quality and thorough as Aaron does. I now understand why people make an appointment and drive more than an hour to have him do the work. I will gladly refer my friends and family to Aaron if they need any dash cam work done. This place deserves its 5 stars!
Note: While you are waiting for installation to finish, the only thing that is decently close to the business is a cafe/restaurant (Risen Bakery and Grill). My appointment was at 9:00 AM on a Friday, and the cafe wasn't open until 10:00 AM. There's also a Walmart and a few places to eat (I saw a Del Taco) maybe about a mile up the road as well, but that is obviously further away (unlike Risen Bakery and Grill which is almost just across the street). I don't think Risen had WiFi, just in case some people were curious.

Whenever I see solid 5's across the board for any business review I'm very skeptical. But in this case, the reviews couldn't be more spot on. Aaron is a perfectionist in every sense of the word. His wiring techniques are excellent. I doubt there is a cleaner installation anywhere. Aaron knows his stuff and took great patience in explaining the features of the system I purchased. I'm 70 years old, so to say I'm not tech savvy is an understatement. Very pleased with the system, the installation, the attention to detail and Aaron's excellent customer service. You'll be hard pressed to find a better dashcam dealer/installer....
